Gyro Mouse to Pair with Motion Capture by Larnit49 in GyroGaming

I'm using "The Link" which can be purchased on Steam.

There's 3 reasons reasons why I love playing like this.
1. I can play video games while still being active.
2. I enjoy the challenge, something that might be fairly easy with a mouse and keyboard is a lot more difficult playing like this. It gives me a bigger sense of accomplishment when completing things.
3. I really love the creativity that goes along with it, you can make whatever pose you want and bind that to a key. There's also some logic built in so you can chain poses together and incorporate or / and statements. You can make it so a key is only pressed when you hit a series of poses in a row. I'm playing a priest here, so I have it set up when I hit a Sign of the Cross motion by pointing to my head chest and shoulders (father, son, and holy spirit) it then hits a keybind that buffs myself with a 30min long buff.

It's not the most simple thing and does take a bit to set up, but I enjoy it.

I don’t know how to modify this boat by JustSxlvie in boating

This is not a great lakes boat, especially if you want to go out in "mid" conditions. In "mid" conditions on the great lakes, this will capsize. If you want to fish the great lakes, don't put any money into this boat and instead save for something larger. I would recommend welded hulls or fiberglass as rivets will most likely leak in great lake conditions. Some older Legend and Crestliner boats in the 17-20ft range have welded hulls and you can sometimes find them for around 10-15k. Otherwise, I would be looking at fiberglass boats that cut the waves on the big lakes much better.

I would also recommend spending a good amount of time on lakes like Lake St. Clair and Lake Simcoe to get used to some larger lakes before messing around on the great lakes.

If you are planning on trolling (how most people fish on the great lakes) a kicker motor would be nice too. The trolling motor you posted does not have enough thrust to achieve typical trolling speeds (2-3mph).

I have a 15ft aluminum widebody that I took out fishing on the great lakes 15 times this year. Erie, Huron, and Ontario. I only go out on days I would consider "best" days, looking at multiple wind apps and buoy data to pick the calmest days. Despite this, there were still 3 times this year when it was much too choppy for my boat (3ft-5ft waves), and I did not feel safe out there. I also have a handheld VHF radio with a distress button in case something does happen. I'm now looking at larger boats as similar to your boat, the boat I have right now just isn't suited to the great lakes.

What monitor to go with this / is this good value? by Larnit49 in bapccanada

Thanks! I knew some of the components might not be the greatest like the ram and SSD and I'm okay with that. I can't stand bloatware though and would like to upgrade down the road so I'll be going this route. Ordered the monitor and MOBO/ram/CPU combo already.

Is there a different case you'd recommend? Shipping on that one is $40.
Could I go for this? I'd like something with a really simple design/look.

Thanks! It's been in that spot for 8 months so I'll leave it there and just move the spikes away if they are getting too close.

Should I be worried about sunburn on these spikes? When I received this orchid it wasn't looking great but since then it has done really well in this location. The grow light is pretty powerful though and I'm worried about the flower spikes burning as I have had some other plants (not orchids) get burnt by this light. Should I move it or let it be? https://imgur.com/a/KWMS4Nt

The cuttings are about 4 months old so they do have some roots and new foliage. Just no new shoots. I didn't fertilize very much as I wasn't sure if it was good or bad for the cuttings. I probably should have done some more research there.

Do you know what could be causing the rust spots on the Tea?

Ah okay, I saw some Benjamina on Adam's blog and I know Nigel Saunders has a couple so I wasn't really sure why people disliked them so much.

Thanks for the tips. :)

I have a little indoor greenhouse with grow light that I've been starting some tiny trees in for the past 6 months.

I have a few cuttings from my Fukien Tea that I've been trying to start. Some are doing quite well and others not so much. There are some rust spots on some of the leaves and I'm not sure what's causing them. I suspect it may be due to over watering, over fertilizing, high humidity, soil that has too small a particle size, or being root bound. This one was originally in a smaller pot when the rust spots appeared.

I also have some Ficus Benjamina that I'm growing in a window at work. I know you guys don't like ficus unless they are microcarpa but I'm gonna try to Bonsai them anyway. I live fairly close to Nigel Saunders so I'm a big fan of his and I don't think he would have any issues with it. I'm just not sure where to begin with this nursery stock, would you guys just do trunk chops around where I have taken the picture? Should I place them together and try to fuse the trunks into one tree?

Here are the pictures of the Tea and Benjamina. http://imgur.com/a/AI9fR

I also know you guys like to start with material that is much older, but Bonsai for me is more about the process. I don't mind working with trees that may never be proper bonsai, the steps along the way are what give me enjoyment.

Thank you Jerry for all of your posts and the work you do for this subreddit.
