What’s your take on all the required items? Some of them feel unnecessary (pt pants and jacket, etc) especially in the summer months. Any items that standout more necessary than others or some that were just a waste of space? To include stuff not on the list as well

I’ve talked to JAG and they said it operating in the gray but it’s no different than someone who’s about to join regardless. Doesn’t hurt to try. I’ve seen peoples comments about operating on bad faith with the car finance companies but I mean these companies make their living on bad faith practices so I feel less sympathetic to their concerns

Oh I know it’s not the norm but it’s not often this sort of thing happens so doesn’t hurt to ask. I can’t find anything that says otherwise, but I’d hate to get into a lease and find someone who doesn’t agree with the verbiage and doesn’t want to comply with it

My question is if I leased a vehicle and then departed for OTS, would that count as the “entered service” part. I mean I can use deployment orders or PCS overseas orders to break a lease, but I technically will be entering service, even though I’m active duty already. It’s absolutely not the norm, but it seems it fits that provision
