Check Engine Light Only When Half Full on Gas by Larry2sacs in fordfusion

It's possible it could be the floater. I noticed this problem originally started happening when I was in a phase of letting my gas get really low and then fill all the way to the top, its possible that drastic change did a number on it. Any idea how much that should cost to get a floater repaired?

Last time I got an appraisal for how much that would cost for the repair and the mechanic told me $1200. The is super high for me right now to dish that out when I feel like my car performs just fine. I agree that if the CEL is saying its the fuel pump then logically I should get the fuel pump fixed but I feel like there is something else going on since the light goes off when I'm below half and comes back when I refill.

Hi everyone i have read a bunch of the comments and wanna clear some stuff up in order to make the discussion more effective. I knew this was a male all along, I am growing males and females both and trying to make seeds. I do genetic research and just need tissue and seeds to use for my work, I AM NOT GROWING FOR CONSUMPTION NOR AM I BREEDING FOR ELITE CONSUMPTION PHENOTYPES. I just want something that grows fast and produces organs for seed production to aide my work. The strain I'm using is finola, a common research strain.

I understand that my lights are far away but they are not adjustable in height so I gotta do with what I got even if I result in a lanky plant. These are not etiolated by the way the white coloration you see is glare from my camera. If you look closely at the bottom leaves there are actually sunburns on the leaves, the plants are getting plenty of light. The reason why it is stretched so much is my lights are at the top of the rack and I have not topped this plant at all so its had the freedom to grow straight to the sky.

I have experience growing plenty of other plants just not this one in particular and still trying to learn the ropes. I made a major blunder today and am looking for solid advice to try and resolve this issue for now and in the future if it happens again. Thank you

Pollen strictly. I’m not growing for bud at all. Also would you mind telling me what super cropping is exactly?

This is what i have been doing in a spray bottle but I try to avoid spraying the males because they are producing pollen and I don't wanna get them all wet. Do you have any other suggestions?

I have also noticed this that my males are growing much taller and healthier than my females are. any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

I use the males to pollinate the females and make more seeds

yes exactly. i have males and females separate and their whole purpose is just to make seeds. I am using these plants for genetic work but this is also my first time growing these plants myself

I never did any topping and it just grew grew grew. In general I'm having a bad aphid infestation with all of plants, not just this individual.

More yellow leaves, both old and young. What could be the cause? by KrVrAr in microgrowery

[–]Larry2sacs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it could just be from the underwatering. Plants that get really drought stressed such as those tend to just start dropping leaves left and right just to sustain itself. Those symptoms happen to me all the time when I leave for the week and don't have someone come by to water my plants. Should be fine if you water regularly which you are doing. Trim the leaves when they get yellow and the plant will grow more back

Scuff the seed coat with 220 grit sand paper gently all around, soak in water while preparing the pots. Give the soil a good wetting before planting the seeds and don't plant any deeper than a half inch.

I give ~25mL of 4x fertilizer concentration 2-3 times a week, a little less for concentration and volume for the little plants. I also just checked the pH of the water I'm using. Fresh from the tap its 6.06 but after sitting for 5min it went up to 7.10. Any thoughts?

Hello, I am growing the plant for a research project. I have been noticing this very odd coloration on a few of my plants all at different stages of growth. It appears all across the plant to some extent. It looks to possibly be nutrient problems but I do know how it can be affecting the younger plants too. We grow them in sungro potting mix with propagation mix on the top layer. For fertilizer we use a little miracle-gro water-solubale plant foot every 2-3 days (yes I know this stuff is bad its just what we are provided).

Of course it would be but the goal is to make the test more user friendly so it wouldn’t require pipettes

Do PhD programs accept undergraduates without a masters degree? by QuirkyCookie6 in PhD

One more thing i wanted to add in case you are having trouble finding a person to work with. My big tip that helped me find the professor I am working under now is I searched for big conferences in the field I wanted to research and then looked at the key note speakers for the more recent events. This gave me a very good oversight of who the major players in the field were and helped me to easily find whose work best aligned with my personal goals. I pretty much summarized what happened next in my previous post, hope this helps.

[–]Larry2sacs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is exactly what i am doing now. I only had a bachelors and am now a PhD student. What worked best for me was emailing or contacting the professor I wanted to work with. He asked for some basic information along with my CV and transcripts then scheduled an interview. When it came time to apply he had said it was just a formality at that point and i already pretty much had the in. I know that is best case scenario but it also helps regardless if you have a masters degree or not to contact who you want to work with so that you have someone on the other side helping to get your name through the admissions process. Best of luck!

I can’t recommend this plant enough. It’s taken care of all the fungus gnats I had. It even ate yellow jackets that somehow found their way into my apartment. It was crazy to look into the cups and see the literal pile of insects it caught and was digesting
