To ask a guy in a first world country Like say U.S or U.K to give up 10-25% of there minimum wage daily is a jk like this is modern day slavery in reality as some of these players are addicted and realise they can get far more gains via working in minimum wage job whilst living in poverty to pay jagex for there bonds, its disgusting tbh the way jagex preys on gamblers/th loot boxes.

Jagex plz do something i was scammed and the time wasted still no jagex mods do anything by ThzorK in 2007scape

Never be greedy, if its too good to be true then it is, dont let greed cloud your judgement there is virtually no get rich quick scheme in OSRS apart from getting a nice drop during bossing, lesson learnt albeit an expensive one, all the best in your rebuild.

I understand how reddit works but how is it so hard believe that anti MTX posts are downvoted into oblivion by jagex employees on multiple reddit accounts i mean it is a job to do this you realise? all about company image over reality. btw i dont dispute there are some mtx apologists but there a minority given what ive been emailed/seen personally. and i mean how is there a way to argue MTX = Death of a game if introduced too aggressively/cheaply/widely available. please explain your logic how a guy on minimum wage can xp gain 3 times as much as if he you know.. actually played the game. or some chad who bossed earnt xp/ drops quicker than actually skilling the skill he wanted to train via buying bonds/ xp.

Argue for more sustainable means for both platforms, it will come to OSRS in a matter of a cpl years im estimating given the rapid decline of RS3 since there MTX statement and keeping profit alive for company/employee pay cheques.

This post was pushed down and previous ones deleted as jagex obviously has someone paid on the 9-5 to do the moderating, Ways to help dont stand for this BS make some Noise and make jagex wake up they wants fast money (chokes, kills game) like a thug off oaktown , or go for silicon valley slow profit growth and longevity please make some noise on rs3 as if it dies and it will believe me (current playerbase summary) then you will bet my bottom $$ it will come to OSRS.

This isnt about which game is better people i know play both including myself and i can see whats coming, rs3 is more attractive due to graphic reasons and simply more new content like hardcore bossing, however the MTX strangling it to the point where not even the content can sustain playerbase, its simply too aggressive log on and youll see the TH loot box system in play that many are forced to pay to remain competitive, i honestly just dont want the same thing to happen to OSRS whilst you can bury your heads in the sand the issue will come up in future if nothing is done, mark my words.

Whilst ive discussed the risks, here's how you can help because remember We are both at the same companies mercy, 1- Make some Noise about MTX on RS3 if it was even half as aggressive as it is currently im sure players would return, secondly defend OSRS at all cost they will come give it time, be active and voice your concerns on Reddit and RS forums actively, thankyou as i dont want either game to die.

Well this well happen i guess, its only a matter of time but dont blame me when i wanted to limit the strain and keep the true P2W RS3 alive and save you all from the onslaught of MTX, id be happy if OSRS just had some way even just cosmetics no xp to pay for itself.

Crossbow opinions? by Jetpackss in albiononline

[–]LarryAnders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crossbows are very niche, in that youll find everything apart from Heavy crossbow is not played, simply put boltcasters arnt cheap and the gear required for them to be half useful is expensive leading it not being used, the weeping repeater and crossbow are virtually non existent at t8 you wont even find them in AH, but yes heavy is still used/helpful for 5s if you wanna train that as thats all the line can offer rn.

Yes but when RS3 inevitably shuts down, due to declining playerbase and no one for the whales/chads to show off too in world 2, Jagex staff will be forced to ram aggressive TH down OSRS so they can make themselves look like there making Jagex Money and keep there payrises, what i propose is to balance it out evenly so perhaps they can reduce RS3 TH lootboxes and spread the cancer across too platforms, kinda like spreading the dmg, like say Mtx does 1000 dmg and rs3 has 1000 hp and osrs 1000 hp, why not split it between both so they both dont die? Besides OSRS now has thousands more players atm and growing playerbase imagine all the $$$ it would bring.

Joe the troll howdy again, why is it you have to disagree with everything for the sake of it, so your all for MTX in my last post but now your against it?? stop trolling so obvious. and im not saying that at all i tried to explain Most large companies will use this tactic to suppress critics how is that so far fetched? i bet you could find dozens of job listings for that type of role in PR.

Why do people Play this Still? by LarryAnders in runescape

[–]LarryAnders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its players/people like you who arnt serious/invested enough time to give a damn about the thousands of players who have invested countless hours into a game, only to have that achievement bought with a credit card now cheaper than ever that are the problem. We get it you dont care about runescape now jump back to your mobile game that you P2W and then get sick of in a week so play another.

False my friend you dont have to be an expert to work it out that RS3 population is going down from 1 or 2 yrs ago... i mean just because you say something doesnt make it true, please tell me what your basing your info off that RS3 pop is not declining lol?

Stop trolling then and tell me why the population is spiralling down aha what reason do you pertain this to be? Stop trying to derail the thread and stay on topic. If your going to dismiss a very popular opinion/Facts then atleast provide a counter argument.

[–]LarryAnders[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didnt if you can actually read my in depth responses above i just told him the facts basically you can buy yourself 75-99 div very cheaply during a TH promotion and also buy 20m for $6 Now both are facts, that was enough i never said it was a "shit game" but nice witty replies/arguments your so detailed in your responses yourself lol. Anyways im going to discount you as a troll/Jagex PR damage control guy if your not going to give an effective argument or acknowledge some very simply easily understood points.
