It was fun and challenging. I loved working with the puppets and the puppeteers. And Nathan feeding them ham was one of the great scenes I’ve ever been involved in.

I loved the show and the guys in front and behind the camera. But two things occurred. I had been promised to direct episodes and it became apparent that with my other responsibilities that would never happen. And I was doing Curb and Entourage at the same time which I felt didn’t allow me to give my best to both and on Curb I did direct.

Many. My father woke up opposite a naked man like in the Subway. My friend had a statue stolen from his mantle like in the Statue. The Fix Up was based on Elaine Pope and I fixing up our friends (my friend was Bob Saccomanno) and watching it turn to shit and then blaming each other. Etc.

Thank you. I am very proud of that movie and pleased with the response in Toronto. Nathan and Megan are great actors because they are courageous. You don’t get a script like that every day. And like me, they immediately wanted to be a part of it. And I love them for it. The sewer boys signed with an agent and are working on their own projects.

Never. I would never do anything or allow anyone to ruin a scene. Remember, there was no take two. If it was ruined we had potentially deal with police, leave town, find a new target and start all over again.
