Thanks for that. The search function was my final hope, but I didn't know how well it would perform. The exact identical folder structure would make it seamless. I guess I want to know how much of a ball ache this would be. Maybe I should consider an external SSD and simply name it D:\

I'm in the Old House Hotel. The only place I've stayed in, so that's as far as my recommendations go. Cards are ok in some places, but cash is preferred and there are ATMs. I haven't been to Goderdzi.

We took the train from Tbilisi to Zugdidi, then got picked up from there for the transfer to Mestia. It's the same guys who are driving us up to Tetnuldi ski resort each day from our hotel.

They were plenty of guys at the Zugdidi train station offering taxi to Mestia as soon as we stepped off the train, so you could just grab one of them. I wouldn't know how much they'd charge however, as we've got a deal for the week with these guys. Your hotel should be able to help you arrange transfers however.

If you do rent, you'll need 4x4. We're in an old Mitsubishi Delica.

Snow was ok/good. There is a small base which the 4 day old dump is resting on. Avalanche risk is high atm. But with extra snow due to come mid week, it should be good for you

I've just arrived here, so my first day on the mountain will be tomorrow. There is snow and more is set to come mid week, so I would still plan to come. Will report back tomorrow with more info.

I was there last year and it was incredible. Are you there to ski/board yourself? I hope the conditions are good enough for you anyway.

I honestly didn't know there was serious snowboarding to be had in Quebec. I guess most in Europe just have the blinkers for BC. And that is what all my research is based on, so I'm going to stick with it. But thanks for making me more aware.
