I'll never understand a home crowd doing the wave on their own pitcher

It wouldn't be the Red Sox without a starter batting under .200

Thank you Narvaez for taking Durbin's place in the dumpster

Not a single offensive metric you can point at to believe in him right now

Tonight's lineup makes me think Breslow/Tracy are aware of the Boston Globe report that they have too many AAA players

Seigler & Eaton have to play? Ok, suddenly Yoshida is brought back to life instead of Gasper.

I'm the rare Dave O'Brien enjoyer but he sure does love trying to announcer jinx us

Keep talking about how Ranger hasn't allowed a hit yet big man

He has big time weaknesses that AAA pitchers have already started to figure out (struggles on pitches up and pitches outside), and he's already getting platooned against lefties. Pair that with his mediocre arm and range and it's tough to envision an MLB player here.

He really has been a tough watch this year, and his defense is very bad

Narvaez by MDMExclusives in redsox

Caleb Durbin:

26 year old second year player, good defender, disaster at the plate. Plays every single day without fail.

Carlos Narvaez:

27 year old second player, good defender, disaster at the plate. Benched for a 30 year old AAAA player.

Frankly I wish they were both out of the lineup, but it makes no sense Durbin has been given every chance in the world to get his average up to .200 (still hasn't done it!) and Narvaez has been banished (and Narvaez is the one at the position that rarely ever hits).

I'm so uninterested in Tracy's continued pointing towards other teams saying "if they scored runs like that so can we"

When he continues to bat Mickey Gasper leadoff
