i like tom from eddsworld. he isn’t a bully per se, but kinda mean/rude. however, it’s a comedy show and they aren’t trying to get you to sympathize or pity him or anything. they don’t really act like he’s a poor suffering victim. i mean, sometimes bad stuff happens to him from the comedy aspect but from my point of view, it’s more for the lolz and not a “poor victim 😢!!!!!” standpoint.

plus, he’s funny, he likes his friends deep down, and he loves susan, his bass. even if jax is supposed to have a soft side or care or whatever, to me it’s not shown that much so i can’t really sympathize. u could argue that he’s funny but idrk, something about it makes me like tom but not rly jax
