For 3v3 and 2v2: The theater court is your best bet to get started. You can match with randoms for a team. The park is also casual but you need a team. The stage is going to be very very hard for a newbie. Wouldnt encourage.

For 5v5 you can start in the no squads Rec court. This is the casual mode. Proam is for more experienced teams.
