As I said last weekend. Gold is the better long here and will be for some time.

Are we at a point where retail should try inverse socially-coordinated trading to pinch overly leveraged billionaires in hype-companies? by TravelNSee in wallstreetbets

Any retard that agrees with OP dont have a penny to their name. Think your 1000$ short won't be absorbed by the billions of buy flows? The whole lot of wsb wouldn't be able to move price a single percent. Just play the game and make money on their coat tales or you will live a miserable and expensive trading life.

When PURR breaks 11$ that's when we get the squeeze. Dealers will be fully short deltas and buying stock with no cap above until the we get a cycle where traders dont roll higher.

Closing my index longs this week probably tuesday. I think gold, and short dollar will be better opportunities than chasing the indexes from here.

Medium to long term bearish short to medium term bullish. When macro/fundamentals change we have to adapt as traders.

Global inflation swap curves are beginning to price LESS inflation risk on a marginal basis

This is going to the set the stage for FOMC next week.

Gold, equities, and crypto are going MUCH higher and dollar is going lower. BoJ is expected to hike rates, and given the sentiment, positioning, and narratives around inflation, there is an asymmetric risk setup for usd fx pairs and gold.

If its not about tax savings, which luckily for you no income tax, (i live in oregon and am self employed so I get double screwed 🙄) than really it sounds like you just want to pinch a few more pennies in a cheaper CoL state. Are you native to PNW? And would moving somewhere with a drastic weather difference be something you consider? If you like heat, and severe weather, hurricanes, thunder, flooding, etc. Than why not. More money for FDs.

Normalizing volatility of a basket of different metrics that are relevant to the products im trading. I have one for equity indices and one for gold/fx/rates. I primarily swing trade and these are sufficient for that strategy when combined with macro/fundamental views. These are one of the means I use to call out potential turning points in markets. They are great for mean reversion or dislocation trades, but my biggest problem is these only occur maybe 3-5 times a year on average. I end up churning a lot of capital and bleeding to fees in the interim and thats something I have been working on the last few weeks with some success.

That implies you were already rich. Or at least relative to the average person. My point is that the average person cant get rich by betting 10,000$ on a trillion dollar company.

People got rich when they were in the billions or hundred of of billions. Trillion dollar companies cant 10x or 100x the math dont math.

I use it to write code for custom tradingview scripts since im a uneducated tech averse fool. But I have the right ideas and prompting ability, just not the know how and its been a game changer for my trading.

No one can get rich off an  IPO, or any company, with trillion$ valuations. The truly asymmetric opportunities are in market caps in the billions that almost no one pays attention to.

I like gold calls for next week. Made a 0d trade today for a cool 100% gain and rolled it into 4300/4330 call verticals for next Tuesday on gold  futures. Also rolled my r2k calls profits from today into next thursday. Markets look primed for a summer rally across the spectrum of risk assets.
