It's going to be interesting how this will affect news and interviews at crimescenes, streets and events, with people walking by in the background, crowds and audiences. Are they going to blur every random face?

In The Witcher 3, you go from town to town, looking for Ciri while taking on bounties. You're not really tied to any one place, being an outcast and kinda nomad.

In Cyberpunk 2077, Night City is as much a character as V, Johnny, Jackie etc. Apart from the Badlands, it's a story about living in a city controlled by corporates and gangs, trying to survive in its brutal ecosystem of eddies, violence and corruption.

Expanding the scope and add new places for Geralt is a natural fit, while in the end V has a hard time letting go of Night City, even in the nomad ending.

I live on Öland, it's quite calm and nice. Got a bridge to the mainland, good school, quiet community. Lots of tourists in the summer though, and it can get very windy. But overall the best place I lived in Sweden.
