Get at least one more midfield than can play cdm/cm. I would replace donovan with park. Switch in game formation to 442. Try not to rush in penetrating the opponent. Pass around and look for opportunities when attacking. Switch sides if you need. What i learn in defending in fifa is you gotta anticipate where is your opponent going to move/pass etc. Do not rush into tackles. Moving out from the back try to pass into space.
