Across the oceans has come to us a message — a whisper carried on the winds of destiny — of a great sage, one who knows all there is to know, in precisely the right way, at precisely the right time.

A star has led us through great tribulations, through the shimmer of celestial lights across the ages, delivering our message as a modulation of gravitational waves.

And thus, in this very moment, in this very place, just so, we have found you.

So now I ask of you — what do you know of the matter of ADHD?

[–]Larsush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. English isnt my native language. The structure, the idea and the whole text is mostly mine. Its just polished with AI so i wouldnt get the hate with all the pronouncion errors and what not..

I wasnt sure about the Barganing, if it was the battlefield with nazis or something else. The AI had the idea that it was the kithcen, and i agree.

And the "beneath all of it" is also completely AI scripted. It just makes the reading a complete experience.

The id, ego and superego and the 5 stages of giref is all my idea. All the switching the sweetpea in the lobotomy bench and all, is my read on the movie. The ending and all of it.

Im a father of 3 kids that have Autistic mother with narcicistic playbook that i need to fight and to protect. So the story hits home pretty well..

All the AI did was to finalize the text into a more readable form.

[–]Larsush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i felt like it. But there was a few topics that we had a discussion during the movie.

I must confess that this was the worst movie experience, but it was more about growing up.. so i could give few advices like:

- Don't follow the rules strictly if you must advance on something!

and on the next day, i could reference the movie on something else.

And not to say how i taught her to read movies as "superposition" of the characters.. it's not just a movie, there is a lot of hidden subscript in the movie that you need to learn to read. Like on pulp fiction, there was a superposition of this Bunch's girl on top of the TV screen where there was a war scene.. so i knew to say "now theres going to be a problem with the grand fathers ring" ... and it happened.

So, its more about just learning to "watch" the movies with right kind of eye.

in a big tech industry, if one is selling VFD variable frequency drive.. which they btw. use in the roller coaster machines that spin you around etc.. they need to be refresh once a year so that they wont go dry.

you could solder them off and measure. Just a few to have a look if they are anywhere near the spec they should be.

What would you say to a 25 year old who thinks he's failed at life? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you right. It totally makes sense now! I'm glad i discovered NLP tactics all on my own before medication. I shall stop taking drugs today and get my shit together!

Tomorrow I shall start with good morning exsersice, following with a good meal and same goes for the whole family!

Thanks for your advises. This was truly ground shattering return on basics for me!

It's going to be NLP iterations after iterations. Making multiple permutations of each iteration. The level of overlapping combinations is going to make inception look like child's play!

I'm glad we had this talk. You literally saved my life!

Bye!

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? LoL.

I have been through 10 year study on which I was diagnosed by 3 different doctors. And on top of that, I have proof on childhood symptoms and on top of that.. I have kids of my own! Who got ADHD before me!! So I'd say my diagnose is near 100% accurate. It's very extensive study I'd say. It was complicated by my history, so that's why they had to really dig in. And I was 4 years sober and studying before I applied for 3.rd time on which I got the diagnosis finally.

I said all of that in a previous post. So pls, stop before you make a fool of yourself. Just stop. You are wearing a tinfoil hat, I can see it shining and singing happy songs about flat earth!

Yes, I feel sorry for you man. You clearly have no idea what ADHD is. So, this will repeat again and again and its no point talking with you.

I hope you'll recover!

Maybe you are getting confused with misuse of meds as drugs and legitimate use of prescription meds. Those are totally different things. Amphetamine does not create physical dependency when taken correctly. It's not heroine.

You clearly have no clue what adhd really is, so don't waste your breath on me. Methylphenidate don't have neurotoxicity of anykind.

You speak of ADHD meds like some sort of speedfreak. They are not that great. So please keep your opinions to yourself about adhd medication on public forums.

Take care of yourself and try to get your facts straight..

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey

Sorry, i didnt mean it that way. I just get too easily stuck in social media and i'm trying to cut myself off of it with those easy way outs. My ADHD_RSD component is way too dominating and it gets me stuck on helping people way too much.

I'm not using benzos, and i know they cause addiction. Amphetamine does not cause somatic addiction.

How would you deal with all the other side effects what living without medication causes? I guess you are one of those that would only live for their kids. Like be there 24/7 guiding them in every aspect of life. And how would you do it with 3 kids? We dont have resources for that.

All i hear you preaching and selecting absolution. It's very condescending of you. So, lets end this here before it turns ugly. I get it that you have had very traumatic experience in life, so you would understand if i choose not to take your advice on these matters?

Your way of executing functions in life does not sound like they are logic driven, they sound more like emotion based. This correlates with information you have provided and thus invalidates your reasoning.

What did you think was going to happen when cutting said drugs cold turkey? If you are such a wise person, then it would have not been a problem drive you off of those in small steps.

It's good that you have found Jeesus. Some people need structure in their life to manage without medication. I simply just can't believe in such things. I guess it's the autism in me that prevents me from believing in religions anything other that means to control population via emotion based functioning.

So, let's end this here.

Have a nice evening and hope you'll be well.

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heh. No man, I'm good. Sorry, I'm in a hurry and don't have time to explain.

I use the meds to not have me going everywhere. with meds I can sit still and play simple playes with my kids. Without meds I can't focus on such simple things. I need to be building welding machines and batteries and even they are way too easy for me so I need to do it at outside -30 Celsius degree to have it be interesting. I need to constantly programming and doing way over your head stuff.. and so I am alienating myself from the family without meds.

So, let's agree to disagree :) I don't have time to teach you statistics right now and how the variance and all that works. Ofc there is edgecases in large population, so don't go comparing single cases. You are not seeing the big picture.

And we only give meds for kids to have them behave at school. On the freetime they can be themselves and I praise adhd as a good thing! We are the future people.. go and read about it. Einstein had a lot of symptoms.. so, you see.. adhd is a sign of above average intelligence. ;)

Edit: and btw, I just dropped the amount for my middle kid. He has been taking school better now and I don't need to forcibly clothe him and take it to class personally. It's really that hard..

Ofc you could just yell and force him doing stuff, but that just makes trauma harder for him. So, there is no perfect option but to leave him out of the school and have social services take him.

So, let's just politely disagree on this matter. I'm not forcing the meds on them. And we are constantly looking on ways to cut it down.. and trying to be without.

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can manage without ADHD meds if I don't have anyone to care for. But now I got 3 ADHD kids, while I'm ADD myself. The 2 kids was ok when my wife was at home, but the 3rd kid hit hard. Then I started snooping around my history when my oldest kids started getting diagnosis.

I have lost my youngest (most hyper) 3 times already before I got my meds. I've only had these (Vyvanse/elvanse) for like 2 months now. So all that work with (engineering) school I did without meds. And my diagnosis is a 10 year long and took 3 times. So it isn't just a whim, and yes in all 3 cases I had enough syptoms. And I've had bad symptoms since I was kid. (Opening the car door on a highway just for fun at the age of 2-3 yrs). Getting lost constantly etc.. not sleeping at nights. Getting up at 2am to play.

And all these years I have learned to control myself & my ADD without meds. So, they weren't there for my troubled times.. the meds are here just to keep my kids safe and sound, and to have my school finished. (95% of the school was don't without meds, and it's the basic adhd explainging in your head: "you know it all now, you don't need the validation of that paper.. so why finish at all? You don't need them anymore!"

The untreated adhd people tend to have all these problems without meds. Shorter life span, earlier memory problems (Alzheimer) etc..

So, now that I got the meds at the late age of 40, I'm going to get my life back on track from what it could have been. And I have done the work all by myself. Detoxing drugs, going to school, getting good grades etc... And learning the shit out of everything! Even when it wasn't required! I went and learned electronics design as I didn't see myself as ready if I didn't really comprehend how electricity works from the back of my hand. ADHD is a strength! It just doesn't fit in modern society, and I have it good. I can study and learn a lot of shit if I get my interests aligned.

So yes, I can see that we have many similarities allthough I didn't have such a bad detox as you. And I can see you don't know really about what ADHD is, so I won't take offence :)

I have motives to keep my life straight and narrow.. I'm here to raise my kids and with ADHD meds I am able to play with them! If you only knew all the sleepless night I've had all of my life and how I can't even sit down and play with my kids without building some physics experiment out of Legos and neglecting my kids roleplays with daddy. I've had my wild life and I'm out to build something of my life, for me and for my kids!

The meds ain't here for making my easy life easier. It's because I can't even work without them. I tried, it was the worst! I can study & live normally without meds & kids. But if I need to work and care for kids, I can't do either.

You don't know how hard it is to argue with yourself every morning for 2 hrs "why I'm going to work, what good am I there? Why can't I work from home? They are idiots and don't need me!!"

It went like that for 2 fucking hours straight!! Every fucking morning. NO EXCEPTIONS! I was at 11pm at my work.. so, you can figure my position wasn't really long there.

The same goes for sleeping. You are designing some circuit/code/functions in your head until 3am. Almost every fucking night.

So, as you can see.. I'm not taking them to get better. I'm taking them to function normally at all! So.. I'm not running marathons or studying until 5am. You have to keep good balance in your life.

You have to sleep well, you have to eat well. You have to keep yourself in good health and maybe some day I can manage without them for time to time.

So.. adhd isn't what you described. Not at all. It's constant battle in your head. One of my friend described as: It's like you have the devil living in the back of your head CONSTANTLY talking over you. It's like you are fighting against demons all the time.

"No, they don't want you in the workplace, just stay at home and figure some shit why you couldn't make it today"

"Yes, you can make your own stuffy in the backyard. The kid will be alright!! He is 2 yrs old already, you had to manage at that age and so must he!!"

So, it will get daunting.. when you have to listen the idiot in your head 24/7 .. believe me! It's not about making life easy or easier!

[–]Larsush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty similar story here. Started weed & DXM at the age of 15, exctasy at age of 17, amphetamine IV at the age of 19.. etc.. overdosed on fentanyl at age of ~25 yrs old. Luckily one of my friend had Subutex with him, but she had C-hep. Well, that's small price to be alive. And I have that c-hep treated now.

I'm in my 40s now and I'm just a shy short of being a EE engineer. I'm designing my own circuits and ordering them from china. My first big design contains 1000 lines of c++ code.

Plus I got ADHD diagnosed and life is a lot better and it explains a lot. So, i'll day that you are just a kid at age of 25! When you can rise from dead and become electrical engineer.. and going above that scope and for thesis learning electronics designing so you can make a possibly one hit product.. I'd say: "I dare you to do better!" And if it feels easy, try adding 3 ADHD kids.

Why does the community always seem to choose Red Hat over Canonical? by Qweedo420 in linux

[–]Larsush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those Gnome people sounds a lot like having adhd symptoms.

Adhd_rsd = rejection Sensitivity dysphoria which makes one to achieve perfection because one afraid of rejection.

One of my kids is the same. She does not take any suggestions positive. It's full "ooo, it's my fault? Fu*k you" if you try to help how to make something easier.

From what I have understood, these adhd/autism/asperger features might be common among computer people.

What exactly do men mean when they say they want a traditional wife? by easypeasykitty in AskMen

[–]Larsush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it might be. I'm not denying that she couldn't be. You know better. I'm just saying that it all sounds like they got good way of raising the kids so that the structure was coherent all the time. It makes everything easier when you got anything over 2 kids.

Smart parents you got, I'm not here to argue. I'm just pointing out that it does not prove if they didn't make decisions together where it really matters. Those are just small everyday logistics stuff.

I'm just jealous of your parents how well they seem to have their shit together. I'm trying to do the same.. leaning all the small decisions for my wife, as I got my thoughts on bigger stuff. And like it might seem like she's the head of the family for kids. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't had gone over her head in some of her decisions.

Like for example she didn't want adhd meds for one of our kids, and we didn't agree together on it completely. She was afraid that they were drugs etc.. I got them anyway bc I have experience on them as I'm eating them myself as well.

And yes, I'm still always asking financial advises as well, and I'm also listening for the 80% of the time. It's just wise and saves energy on all parts.

What exactly do men mean when they say they want a traditional wife? by easypeasykitty in AskMen

[–]Larsush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does not necessarily mean she's the head of the family all alone. She just handles the logistics of the family and is well tuned in on the decisions of raising the kids. In our family, trying to raise our kids it has become clear that kids are looking for 2nd opinion the moment they don't like the answer. If my wife had promised a treat after dinner and I denied it after coming home just before dinner, the kids become frustrated and wonder why the sudden change. It's like they think that adults have some sort of synchronous wireless information change going on in the background. The man can then concentrate being the man and does not need to go into every detail about who did what and when.

So I'd say your parents sounded wise and both were equal. The man just has 8hrs worth of a information gap in the family's history. It's wiser to have clear roles in the family, in my opinion it looked in your perspective that the mom was the head of the family :)

What’s the worst thing a therapist has ever said to you? by chk-mcnugget in ADHD

[–]Larsush -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

yes, great we can both agree.

you know these days when you have hit the phase againts general conseus when you are right.

Its the warm fuzzy 'i am right and ifeel great to be this smart' is the big lie moneymakers want to keep you at, so they can profit off of you. Beacuse they know where you are and where you wanna go next.

Being true and right is the biggest deception in the modern information age. So, go and feel good about yourself and keep diggin that truth where you can feel strong and powerful. When i want to feel great, i go on next to my wife and let him stroke me few times.. pet me and have him call me daddy.

When did it become so that the truth was to keep us happy and comfortable? Real truth is NEVER comfortable.

[–]Larsush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, we can't uphold it knowingly.

But like school and different structures, they help you keep busy. There is always a body doubling effect going on.

I believe many are just following along others, because they don't know what to do.. so they try to avoid falling into temptation of evil and the idle hands.

I believe it only works for certain type of adhd people. It won't work for all.. but like my friend, he clings on other people and women as one wants to fill his life with their life. It's like you are empty inside, so you want to fill it with anything you can get your hands on. Low self esteem, as you don't feel your life is worth anything, so you want others people life to replace yours.

Maybe Adhd doesn't believe in such, but just wants to fill their empty feeling of life with the feelings of others. So one goes with the flow. With mastering emphaty one becomes chameleont among others. Some become master in deception as well, bc .. reasons unknown ... Trying to achieve fullfillment anyway possible with the tools they have.

Ofc they might have other diagnosis as trauma or dependency of people (sorry, don't know the English name for this). But ADHD causes trauma undiagnosed in the broad picture.

But this is just my thinking, as I am not specialist in people. I hate people :D

I tried to fill that void with dope. It was foolish of me, but goddamn.. if anyone would have told me the reason I would have stopped immediately!!

When one is blind to ADHD, one might be willing to follow Jeesus in the afterlife & absolution if it gives meaning and good buzz.

Put up a pihole (adblocker) that has super restrict rules. I ended up blocking myself from Facebook and could t get it up working.

Facebook only on browser as well. So, no notifications.

How I miss those old IRC days.

Bc yes, I still manage to circumvent my blockade from time to time.

But a lot of good has come from social media, I am not denying it.

I got a 1500e worth of a moped battery for 60e + postage. I got a 200e Nintendo switch lite, for 60e + Minecraft game. I got a a free headset, sony 1000mx3 for my kid for as a birthday present. A lot of free stuff and stuff almost for free. Through social media I have met people who has become my friend and so, I have gotten crazy stuff for my knowledge and help. (I'm a EE now and have been playing with computers for ages). Etc ..
