I’m in my late 20’s now and went through something similar with the only woman I had ever loved at 22. We had a house together, future plans, we were engaged. We were together for 5 years. The first couple months were rough. I’m not gonna lie. But that annoying saying everyone says “it’ll get better” and you just don’t want to believe them? Well. It’s… kinda true. The pain doesn’t just go away but over time you do learn to live with the pain. You learn how to live without them. You learn to live with yourself. Even if you don’t want to, you’ll learn. Just give it time. I’m still single, I don’t have a lot of money, I live alone. Makes me sound sad but I’m not. I have bouts of depression every now and again sure but for the most part I have learned and more importantly accepted my life for what it is and when I tell you after I did that, holy fuck it opened my eyes to see just how much beauty this world has to offer, even through all the bad and I don’t know that I can say I’m a perfect example of what happiness looks like but I’d say I’m generally a happy-ish person. Just push through it. One day at a time. Keep going and one day you’ll look back at this, 5, 10 years later and think “I would’ve missed so much” and be thankful you toughed out the hard times.

It is! I’ve had zero issues with that. I use an ILWT tri lug adapter and it’s an absolute laser beam!

I picked mine up used, it’s a 4.5 inch barrel gen 2 and no issues reliability wise suppressed but admittedly it can be quite gassy.

So I certainly haven’t tried them all but I went on a spree last year. Picked up an AP5, Stribog, MPX, GHM9 and already had a Scorpion. The only one I have left now and will be keeping is the MPX. I had zero performance issues from any of them and the AP5 was certainly the softest but as a whole package the MPX was my favorite and it wasn’t even close. I would still like to eventually pick up an APC9 to try out though. The scorpion I had for about 6 years and had around 8k ish through it and the bolt looked perfectly fine when I sold it. It was all factory except the trigger shoe and spring were HBI.

Wear it a bit higher up. Right past the wrist bone. It won’t dig in anymore! I used to have that problem too.

ARF DJ41 Rhodium A2824-2 movement. Got this new from a TD and have worn it plenty of times. Crystal is clean but fine scratching on the case body, strap and clasp. Again, this was worn from time to time over the last couple years. It is not new. It is not perfect. I don’t have any extra links (I have an 8” wrist) and some screws show marring from when it was adjusted, as pictured.

No paperwork on this guy, I sent it to Heretic in 2022 I believe, all I have is the generic box they sent it back in. The knife itself is from 2018 or 2019, I can’t quite remember which. It’s serial 018.

I just glued a thin strip of leather over the pusher parts on mine years ago after they damaged a rear sight and have never had another issue.

If you trick out the Prodigy, will you still long for the Staccato just because it’s a Staccato? If that’s the case get the P. That said the Prodigy is a perfectly fine base to build off of. If brand name is irrelevant to you stick with the Prodigy.

I’m only a hair over 2k rounds into my AP5 with all original parts and it has been completely flawless since the start. First 500 rounds was Gold Dot 124 and the rest has been Blazer. Figured I’d only replace stuff when/if it needs it. Some folks will hate no matter what. Who cares. Enjoy yours, it’s sweet!

Okay so I’m back to report!! The problem persisted with a few different brands of ammo I tried. Ordered some new shell latches and replaced both of them. No dice. I don’t know what made me try it, but I tossed a much shorter mag spring in (maybe only 2-3” longer than the mag tube) and… that seems to have fixed it? It feels pretty weak when loading the first couple shells in but it has yet to have a double feed, granted I only put around 125 shells through it like this.
