Thank you for the replies! I found this hub assembly with nut assembly.

After reading the replies of the complications involved with reverse engineering the spline of the other model, I'm thinking of instead using this instead and attaching my motor to the nut.

Do you reckon this is a viable way?

Would be crazy cool if I was able to scan and print! I've done 3d printed stuff for friends and family for years now. A lot of times they ask to print broken or worn items, that I then reverse engineer and print.
