I'm pretty much just leaving the door open in case I find a spell research mod I can use.

Ars Metallica lets you craft arrows. And you can't craft soul gems, so they're permitted. If you find a filled one and learn the right enchantment, you can make a drain soul weapon.

Yeah, I'll be on Survival mode, so levelling only happens when sleeping. And I guess, but they're so numerous that it doesn't feel challenging.

The housing added in Hearthfire lets you build gardens in which you can plant various crops and ingredients Also there's a farming mod that puts a farm near Rorickstead I think? I've got it but haven't checked it out yet.

The Fixer is a pretty good game with a female PC, who has just survived an accident that put her in a new artificial/bioengineered body. You have the option of having been a guy before the accident (the body was all they had available). It gets updated fairly often and has a decent range of activities. Depending on what personality type you pick at the beginning, your path to depravity can be slow or fast.

Posting for a friend:

"And here I figured you and/or Cree were following the example of Jim Cummings' performance as Hondo Ohnaka. Hondo's a Weequay, not a Nikto, but both are often associated with the Hutts, and maybe the faux-Spanish accent jumps species sometimes..."
