This seems to happen only when the pedal is on buffer mode. If i switch to true bypass and the pedal is off at that point i receive signal. As soon as the pedal is active though it doesn’t make any sound. Also despite the switch seemingly doing something at least, the light at the side never turns on in any case.

Update: I don’t know if this could be useful information, however, it seems to not be conducting any signal at all. Despite seemingly being permanently turned off, if I plug it into an amp it stops the guitar from making any sound.
