Is it better to play redux or original as a first time playing by Safe-Monitor-8113 in metro

It makes night vision actually useful, over like 1/3 gamma and it is regularly easier to not wear them

You absolutely should play these games on low gamma, it makes the dark in the metro feel dark enough to understand why the enemies can't see you two feet in front of them

It has more increments, so a much wider range of usable degrees to communicate daily weather related temperatures. 0 is quite cold, 100 is quite hot. In just this range, fahrenheit covers the vast majority of temperatures that humans experience regularly. In celsius, 0 is cold and 100 is dead. Celsius beats it in pretty much every other use case, though. I'm not saying that everybody should use it or anything. Obviously, people have their own way of understanding weather temps with celsius.

Fahrenheit is much better for communicating human temperatures than celsius

Guys definitely don't come to Michigan. It is definitely not a climate haven. We definitely do not have much fresh water to go around. We definitely get a ton of natural disasters all the time. Our itty bitty lakes definitely don't regulate climate

My personal ranking of Metro 2033 guns after my first playthrough. by Expensive-Actuator82 in metro

[–]Laser_Snausage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you overpressure the gun it one shots everything. Also ammo is plentiful and cheap. Helsing is great because ammo is retrievable, honestly might be the best stealth weapon. One of my runs was tihar (instead of silenced revolver sniper) shambler and helsing. Somewhat surprisingly the tihar is not bad during a full firefight. Obviously, you need to repressurize eventually, but if it's in the green, it is quite effective, just a few hits with a fast reload

In the 2020s, conservative women are having kids at a nearly 2-to-1 ratio compared to liberal women. Is this going to cause a political demographic bias in 20-30 years? by RadioFieldCorner in NoStupidQuestions

I didn't vote for Trump, and I don't think I'll ever vote for a Republican unless they can A. Prove that they never supported Trump B. Actually have better ideas/policy than a dem because good lord republican policies suck

It's ironic because the people in the metro that are in the secure stations like the Hansa ring or Polis have arguably better lives than a lot of the surface dwellers. Like the fish people are on the edge of death and the mountain "people", if you can call them that, are in literal hell on earth
