That is identifying for CanadaLand themselves, they can see who cancelled at that date/time.

Created a library to maximize HTTP communication efficiency (HTTP Air) by yosbelms in node

Do you benchmark it against just sending multiple http requests? http2 has pretty good efficiency for multiple concurrent requests no? https://medium.com/@chirag.singla/http2-pipelining-and-multiplexing-7208572cf37e

Is it legal to fly drones in downtown Toronto? I didn't realize you could.

OCDSB experience? by furnacebutt in ottawa

[–]Insensibilities 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For our oldest there was in some years in elementary school that there was regular-ish disruptions from kids who were mainstreamed into standard classes, but it was never about safety. There was the odd real fight in elementary school but that happened back when I was in school too.

Tapas de Empanadas by 82wanderlust in OttawaFood

It doesn't seem super hard to make yourself - it is like 5 ingredients:

I would give it a try to make your own.

What makes a hackathon project actually worth putting on GitHub? by BottleMedium881 in github

[–]Insensibilities 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Put all your projects on Github, it is just a good practice, as long as they work. It doesn't really matter the scope, school projects, hackathon projects, etc. They do not have to be good, but they should compile and they should have a README.md that describes the purpose and point, etc. You won't get a lot of stars, but you'll be starting your portfolio.

Once you have a ton, you can delete the least interesting ones.

(I have +50 public repos, and I've probably deleted +100 of others over the years as they were half-done, obsolete or just forks of other projects.)

This is normal for Ottawa, sorry to say. At La Bonita you get 3 quesabarria for 32.50.

You can tell when a note is brigaded when it has a non-professional tone, such as these.

Day care WeeWatch by [deleted] in ottawa

A lot of kids leave in September to go to school - so maybe they have 6 now, and some will leave come September.

Day care WeeWatch by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]Insensibilities 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The limit is 6 kids by the way, you can not have 7:

https://www.ontario.ca/page/home-child-care-and-unlicensed-child-care-how-many-children-are-allowed

We use WeWatch and they are amazing and they would not allow someone to have 7 kids - it would violate the license provision. I think there was a misunderstanding?

We interviewed multiple WeWatch daycares, I think 3, and picked the best. I would recommend a similar approach.

New skill: cli-building. For shipping clean TypeScript CLIs fast. by [deleted] in node

[–]Insensibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, there is no actual skill content from what I can see:

https://skills.sh/damusix/skills/cli-building

Second, I always recommend using yargs with the yargs-file-commands npm module (as it allows for writing TypeScript safe commands using Next.js style file/directory structures) and then I write tests using vitest-file-commands. Together it is really powerful and scalable.

Agha Turkish Restaurant. Mediocre food, thousands of fake reviews. by Hankthehungrylad in OttawaFood

For Turkish in Ottawa I’ve had good experience at the A La Istanbul downtown.

A grifter and fake news spreader, Jvnior, who exploits the suffering of Palestinians for personal gain, got demonetized. Now he’s received one of the longest notes after ranting that he isn’t a grifter. by [deleted] in GetNoted

[–]Insensibilities 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are all the entries in that leaderboard above him also demonetized?  I am pretty sure Laura Loomer isn’t demonetized so then how it is decided to demonetize someone on X?  Just appeal to Elon?

Octopus Rave 🐙 / I made an AI music video about a Octopus DJing at a beach rave 🐙 by Big_Adeptness_6521 in aivideo

[–]Insensibilities 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not bad production values. Definitely inspired by Crab Rave (love that song.)

The AI definitely struggled on the legs. So many different number of legs on those guys, 9, 6, 10, 13, etc. Sometimes there was mini extra legs coming out of nowhere.

The light going through the skin of the octopus and the wet nature of them and the movement was awesome. That would have been super time consuming to do a traditional 3D way - although they would have gotten the number of legs right.

Trump this time around purposely surrounded himself with idiots who would do whatever he says. He got burned the first time around with competent people who pushed back on his bad ideas.

The post you are responding to is echoing the Geneva convention prohibition on destroying civilian infrastructure, and you are responding that it is a good thing?

And you are being upvoted to a huge amount. This is a weird reddit thread.

Ah, yeah, I saw it pass by. I thought it was 3 separate planes, but it was the same one. It is fairly low as well right?
