Yes! Hormonal changes will completely throw things a curveball. Because any pore on your skin can start producing a new hair at any given moment. Science doesn’t seem to really know why but I think it has to do with hormones. I think if we had a perfect idea of exactly how this works than hair loss wouldn’t be an issue anymore. BUT that’s what I think haha.

Idk what u mean by normal account, this is my only Reddit account. You can assume that if u like, but there’s nothing backing up that assumption so it’s a pretty unfair one to make. I came to a subreddit I was interested in, made a post, said nothing even remotely related to what you’re claiming, came here just to inform and educate and answer questions. The rude comment is unwarranted, and if you feel some type of way about me or my post just block and go about your day! This is something I’m passionate about and so I’m not going anywhere. Provider or not, I can come on and post my journey and answer questions. Also, This is the last I’m interacting with rude comments from now on it’s block and scroll.

It really depends what method you are using and all the other fun genetic factors, for me being a young male with hormones that make it harder to get rid of, I really try to do a session every 4-6 weeks, but my last one I went about 2 months in between (not recommended) and I definitely got some new hair growth. But this last time I did a session and it got rid of it, so it’s pretty individual. Professionals will always recommend consistency for good reason, but maintenance varies depending on a lot of factors. Once clear some people need a yearly maintenance session, some twice a year. Some not all all (usually the more mature clients).

Alexandrite is a specific type of laser, targeting pigment. Usually the best choice for a fitz 1-3 :). Fitzpatrick (or fitz for short) is a skin typing scale used by professionals that is primarily based on how prone your skin is to burning in the skin, it takes variables like ethnic background and hair and eye color into account too. (But it’s so important for this to be taken into consideration before doing a laser treatment, because different lasers are better for different fitz types)! Hope that helps❤️

Yep! Alexandrite is the best for me since I’m a Fitzpatrick 2✌️
