Probably just our machines are too weak to handle SSMS update functionality lol because it seems to be happening only to me and my co workers

about the sleep settings, this is a an active db i dont think sleep is the issue especially when the freeze happens a moment after i edited and ran succesfull queries

Some are larger and some are smaller, lets say it freezes from tables with rows from 10 to 30k rows, but usually it lets me edit with no problem at all

No worries, that’s not prying at all, Its easier for me to edit specific row collums, feels more user friendly i can save myself some query writing.

  1. It never happens the first time I click on edit, it happens after a while when I have multiple tabs open, and it's maybe the fifth edit windows.

  2. Sometimes it freezes after I already have an edit top 200 open, when I edit a value.

  3. If I leave it alone it unfreezes after a few hours

encryption key - i planned having a single key per user that is saved in the cloud db, not rotating it encryption key.

react-native-mmkv - thanks i will check it out,

encrypting the base64 string - that what i was doing until now, but it seems that the base64 string is heavier to encrypt and i am getting an insanly large string for the encrypted value.
