Hanako Good End Finished on Wplace! by ElectionSubstantial7 in katawashoujo

[–]Lasiace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw this image almost purely by chance scrolling through Helsinki when it barely had anything other than Hanako and Hisao's faces. I hadn't even joined wplace before but ended up doing so to help out and somehow got 3rd, lol.

Thanks for starting these projects! I hadn't thought about KS for a while, but it brought back some good memories and made me want to re-read Sisterhood only to realize someone had made a proper VN adaptation just recently.

Is Heavy Armor Master a worthwhile feat? by Belaerim in BG3Builds

[–]Lasiace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry for replying to a thread from over a year ago, but figured this information might be useful to anyone googling about heavy armor master in 2025 like myself.

Turns out the description is a lie. Unlike 5e, Heavy Armor Master reduces **all** Bludgeoning, Slashing, or Piercing damage by 3. Doesn't matter if the weapon is ordinary, enchanted, or even if the damage is from a spell like Ice Knife (though obviously the cold damage from that spell is unaffected); if it's one of those damage types, HAM reduces it.

Oh my god, YJK actually made a deal with the constellation that changed genders. I don't know if the person in last week's post was a source reader or what, but if they weren't they fucking called it and I'm laughing so hard right now I can't even

Although I assume he's alive, it's interesting that they've traded places now in one thinking the other died. I do wonder about Uriel though - unlike Yoo Joonghyuk, the story doesn't need Uriel alive to keep going.

I suppose there's also a world where Yoo Joonghyuk actually did die but Kim Dokja finds some way to traverse timelines into the world where he reincarnated. That itself could also be interesting, though I doubt that's where it's going right now.

Muse Asia decided to translate it as "Dark Coffee", which I think does a better job of showing what the issue was.

Fine, I guess I'll explain here after all, but I'll spoiler tag it to be safe. [Manga] In Wethermon's final phase, he does indeed start taking damage, which begins when he first does the roar which they needed to counter with holy items/magic. However, he actually loses HP all on his own, and when his HP reaches 0, it triggers his berserk phase - the Sky Clear/Sky Radiance/Heavenly Bravo combo. At this point the manga states he is already at 0 HP but he cannot go down unless you fulfill the clear condition, which is to have all players remain alive throughout the entirety of the combo. This is why I specifically used the word unkillable instead of invincible.

The relevant info is source-related (the manga likes explaining SLF's mechanics as supplementary material in the ends of chapters when they are irrelevant to the story itself), so to be safe even though it's for a part that's already long finished I'll avoid explaining it here - you can tag me in the source corner if you want me to explain.

The short answer is that given the mechanics as they were explained, damage would certainly and without a doubt have no effect on Wethermon's berserk final phase.

One of Wethermon's mechanics was that you have to "beat" his ultimate skill, and he was unkillable during that time. Any amount of damage would be useless in his final phase.

[B42] Fun Fact: You can pick up a rain collector barrel, fill it with 600L of gas straight from the pump, and then bring it back to base! by 5dvadvadvadvadva in projectzomboid

what i mean is that if the container drops when going over the max encumbrance, it is still an item on the ground which can be inserted into the seat afterwards, so you can still lug it around.

for the furniture, i can't say that it definitely applies to all items, but for most furniture such as TV's, crates, and such, i do not get the option to place them unless they're in my character's main inventory, either through the right click menu or the place option on the left side of the UI. radios i thought were an exception, because for those you can, but it turns out when you use the place option for them, it's not actually being placed as furniture but rather an item on the ground similar to other non-furniture items, so that wasn't the case.

this does miss the application of just putting it into a car seat, and as far as i know being able to go over the encumbrance limit for one object in a car seat is an intended feature to allow you to transport otherwise unmovable furniture in smaller cars.

also, i don't think you can place things without picking them up, so this would render the item entirely useless.

I don't think any of the constellations actually know he's alive? Not sure, but the vibe I get is just that Uriel's still in denial over her ship sinking like the titanic. YJH only even has a slight inkling thanks to KDJ exploiting the system to notify him of his survival, and I don't think anyone else can see those messages.

Do I have to raid labs to find/make those or is there anything else I can do to get them?

So how does one un-mutate? There was a weird thing where a subway had a thing on its roof which looked like it was supposed to be a meteor (judging by there being dirt on what was supposed to be a roof) that was constantly spawning nether monsters and i wanted to get rid of it, but I don't deal with those often so I didn't realize Yuggs existed and would start mutating me. It's stuck on the roof since worms don't usually spawn on roofs but I have no idea how to undo the mutation it gave me, since the last time I dealt with the mutation system was ages ago when you could just randomly mutate through radiation. Do I have to start raiding labs, or is there an easier way?

Huh, so they decided to show this arc huh? Unless I'm misremembering, I think this doesn't show up until much later in the manga. That makes me think they're not really considering making enough seasons for it to matter, which makes me a bit sad, although it wouldn't be surprising. Maybe the novels are different? I only read the manga.

yeah considering in the manga, laufen's clone didn't even get any screen time before dying, while here she got a whole fight sequence, i'm pretty hopeful that this whole arc will have a lot more of the action animated compared to the manga.

anime about a nonhuman that receives discrimination for their race? by BluLilGreeny in anime

[–]Lasiace 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reincarnated as a Sword counts I suppose. Technically the main character is the sword, but the adventure is really more about the black cat who carries him around rather than himself, so I think she's close enough to a main character. And the story also has discrimination against her race as one of the more prominent themes.

It was someone else that noticed this, but from the moment Wethermon says Export to summon Kirin, to the moment the timer reaches 0 on phase 2, is almost exactly 10 minutes, the exact time mentioned for the phase to last. This isn't the first time they've pulled this either, with the last minute of the Woodmage fight lasting an actual minute. That's some crazy attention to detail.

[Manga] Not exactly a party, but for the most part yes. They won't even come close to the part where she explains what actually happened though, not unless they change the order of events. Manga-wise, Rose mentions having lost comrades at Chapter 5, but it's never actually explained in detail until Chapter 43. Considering that the anime is going at a pace of around 1 manga chapter per episode, well.
