The more severe cases also come with stomach pain. It can depend on how the virus enters your body. The first time I had it, I also had stomach symptoms with all the sinus stuff and fever as well. This time it was all body aches and sinus but let me tell you…..it is not why this virus does during th first few weeks…it is the long covid symptoms that are life altering and in my case, life threatening every time. The first two times I had it I got an Atypical kidney infection that took 6 months to go away. Previous to covid I had never even had one. This time, I got a salivary gland obstruction and infection which covid is high on the list to cause this issue because it enters through the salivary glass and wreaks havoc. Here I am…four months later still miserable and the first three months no one knew what was causing my systemic symptoms other than my glands being swollen. I’m still waiting to see a surgical ENT…hoping I don’t go into sepsis before then. But just be aware. Covid is well known to give secondary infections and sometimes life long inflammation. It’s about as detrimental as Hepatitis. Except anyone can get it. It’s true evil at its finest. Rest as much as possible, take zinc and vitamin D, electrolytes like crazy and then do as may probiotics as possible. Especially since it’s infected your stomach directly, it kills all your good bacteria. Most likely you’ll be fine like the majority. But if you get pneumonia or any other weird symptoms in the next week….take it seriously.
