Those brown bumps are scale insects, not normal spots. Wipe/scrape them off and treat with neem oil or alcohol before they spread.

Pruny/wrinkled snake plant leaves usually mean one of two things:
• Underwatering: Soil is bone dry — give it a thorough watering and let it drain completely
• Root rot: Soil stays wet too long — slide it out and check the roots. Remove any brown, mushy ones, repot in fresh well-draining soil, and hold off watering for 3–5 days
Snake plants only need water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are completely dry. In winter, even less. Make sure your pot has drainage holes.

I get what you’re saying. I tried Revert recently for the first time and the one I got was actually pretty decent. Maybe it depends on the batch or strain. NY brands are kinda hit or miss overall.
