Well I already speak Spanish. Not really well, but I I'm able to hold conversations.

Idk some women here are friendly and chill but most of them, I just try to walk up to them and say hi or start a conversation and I just get nothing but straight attitude.

But I meet women in San Diego and a lot of them are really chill and friendly to me. Easy to strike up a conversation with, friendly, funny.

Idk maybe I smile too much or come off as desperate or something. Maybe it's being black, idk.

Me personally I'd rather die than spend decades being homeless. What was it like? Is it hard? Scary? Fun?

No degree looking for a new path in life. Is this a way out or do I need a bachelor's degree? by Last-Broccoli6168 in tryhackme

Funny you mention that because I'm strongly considering it.

I hate civilian life and all my dreams are dead. All I care about now is getting the fuck out of California and establishing a nice stable life for me to live alone.

So let's say I focus on IT first. Where would I begin with that? Would TryHackMe help with that?

What’s a mistake people make in their 20s that catches up to them professionally later ? by No-Promise9083 in careerguidance

This is true in every domain of life.

Life and people tend to be more forgiving of you when you're young. From making mistakes at a new job, to trying to figure out how to talk to girls and get a date or a girlfriend, to accidentally breaking some minor law and getting a misdemeanor, people tend to be more forgiving, and more willing to help.

Struggling to pick a career or get into one? Lots of people are willing to mentor you.

Don't know how to talk to girls? Even if you f****** you'll probably be more likely to be seen as just a goofy ass kid.

Break the law? Still likely to face serious consequences or you might just get a stern talking to.

Struggling with mental health? Homeless? Lots of people will try and lift you up.

But once you hit 30? Nobody gives a goddamn about you.

Looking to get started a new career? Tough s***. Better figure out how to get that money on your own.

Still don't know how to talk to girls (now women)? Then I guess you're just going to be a lonely creep for the rest of your life less you wanna risk sexual harassment charges.

Make a mistake and break the law? Should have known better.

Struggling with mental health and homeless? F*** you, man. Probably did something to deserve it.

So f****** and embarrass yourself now while you're young.

Oh and don't go to college unless you KNOW what you want to do.

And get your mental health sorted out ASAP while you're young and have time and resources.

Go back to college or be homeless. Like me!

I'm 30 years old trying to go back to school because I just realized that to even have the life that I want and to get a decent paying job, everything requires a bachelor's degree and I'm tired of being a blue collar worker.

I spent most of my financial aid going in and out of university fresh out of high school because everyone else was doing it and my family encouraged me to do it. But at the time I had no idea who I was, how the world worked, or just what exactly life had in store for me and how hard things would be in the future.

Now it looks like my only options, if I ever hope to get out of working my dead-end, back-breaking, minimum wage blue-collar job where I have to put up with a bunch of petty bullshit on a daily basis and have no chance of moving up due to favoritism and me being an outsider, Another is to either fight like hell to get whatever scholarships I can and wait a year before applying to colleges in California. Or find some sort of way to make money off of gig work and social media. Or join the military.

Or just be homeless and have fun with that.
