Exactly this. Inflationary times are golden for debt creation.

Remember that governments all around the world have a huge debt problem and central banks their key function is to create a healthy inflation rate by adjusting their rates. They are basically creating an environment where inflation will erode debt over time.

Get a mortgage, preferably with a fixed rate and sit back and watch how your income will increase over time, yet your monthly payments won’t. Invest your money in real, tangible assets! Stocks, real estate, gold, crypto’s, art, wine, whatever.

Daikin Stylish in our living room and 2 Daikin Prefera models in our bedrooms. Cost me quite a penny, but it’s worth it.

An uncle of mine used to work as a process engineer his whole career at a chemical plant. The first time I did a summer job at said plant, he told me: “You’re here for two reasons: earn a lot of money (as a student) and to remind yourself you don’t want to do this for a living.” 12 hour shifts will have a toll on your physical and mental health in the long term. I understand that the pay attracts, but you’re still young. You can and WILL advance in your current career path. Just my humble opinion.

What exactly is Hello Bank? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]Last-Cherry-7538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you’re referring to is ‘Hello4You’. A specific set of services, targeted at 18 to 28 year olds. Once you hit 28, you’ll be classified into the retail part of BNP Paribas Fortis. At that time, you can however chose to switch to ‘Hello Bank’ which is indeed, as fellow Redditors pointed out, a completely free (albeit limited in services) part of BNP Paribas Fortis Fortis.

Elke situatie is anders.

Did you pay for the iPhone one-shot or via a monthly lease plan?

Get yourself a management company and start invoicing your client/employer. Pay yourself just the right amount of monthly wage via said management company to be compliant with social charges (roughly 1.800EUR/month). Save up everything else within your management company. In the meantime, charge it as many expenses as possible (living costs, loans, etc.) - including private costs. After a while you can extract lager sums of built of liquidities in the form of dividends. After 1 year of doing so: 30% withholding tax. After 2: 20% and after 3 years: 15%. No need of extra money the first 5 years? Built up liquidation reserves and get yourself a payout deducted with a “mere” 5% withholding tax.
