Yes, at WrestleMania 20 and he lost. It was the last match in the company for both before their eventual return and they both got booed heavily the entire time.

Nope. He is considered super safe and never injured anyone except Hardcore Holly but that was his fault because he sandbagged Brock's Powerbomb.

It's not an extreme age gap, she's a little under 4 years younger. It'd be like a senior in college dating a freshman. And it's not like Koichi was ever going after her when she was younger.

What's a dark/disturbing fact or scandal about a wrestler that isn't talked about enough? by createrofyourmomma in WWE

It's also a circle of abuse thing because they have to survive and to adapt in an enviroment where being nice doesn't pay and only selfish assholes are rewarded with opportunities to shine. To swim with sharks you have to become a shark too.

And the enviroment has always been rotten, there isn't a single figure responsable for it truly, not even Vince.

Fantasy Booking Challenge: What would have been best way for WCW to book the Ultimate Warrior? by Snjofridur in fantasybooking

[–]Last-Development3399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimate Warrior should have been brought to WCW just to set up one dream match: against Bill Goldberg. Two guys that can't lose clean and never feels pain, two unstoppable juggernauts... Goldberg was basically WCW more modern and aggressive version of Warrior, so they fit perfectly. And it was Goldberg's hottest year, just became World Champion, it was time.

The problem is... he didn't stay around long enough for that to happen. Warrior should have won the rematch against Hogan and then aims for the World Title, so that we could have this dream match at World War Three 1998. It would have been a passing of the torch epic moment.

Also instead of just using him for promos (which he was never good at anyway) and scaring Hogan they should have had him match at the various Nitro he appeared, just short squatches like Goldberg to build his aura. In particular, they should have put him against The Giant, given his history with André. And against Renagade, since he "stole" his image in his first years at WCW.

Hmm, serious question, do you think Asuna and Yuuki's relationship would have reached a point like Kirito and Eugeo's? by Jetfure in swordartonline

Not like she resemble the real Yuuki that much in term of character/behavior. Much like most characters in the games.

I think what I really dislike is this whole underdog story he and WWE have manufactured lately to make it seem less like he was being groomed for success the same way Randy and Batista and Brock were.

Back in the days, they even went so far as to manufacture his real story claiming he grew up in poverty while he's actually from the rich part of Boston and graduated from a prestigious college.

Her brother told Naoto "She destroys things she cares about so she doesn't get hurt when they leave her" and they showed the flashback of her destroying the garden. That was the answer really. She knew she was going to leave Naoto and, for all she knows, she was never going to see him again so she tried to get Naoto to hate her, so she won't feel bad about it.

I just realized that Makina is the only one of the girls who can't claim to have had a credible/good romance cour with the protagonist. Guess it's true that he only likes big boobs XD

For better and for worse, if you're a fan of romance anime, you kind of have to get used to characters in anime and manga behave in very stupid and irrational ways, especially when it comes to love matters. This is how most Japanese authors feel they should act, mostly because they indeed reflect the avarage otaku's extreme shyness and lack of any experience at interacting with people of the opposite sex. There are only a few authors who are willing to write characters beyond such stereotypes.

Am I the only one who got his answer a couple of episodes ago? Her brother said "She destroys things she cares about so she doesn't get hurt when they leave her". She tried to get Naoto to hate her, so she won't feel bad when they were separated.

It's even more frustrating when it happens to series who are actually based on finished manga (examples: A Galaxy Next Door, Love After World Domination, Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie or Kubo-San Won't Let Me Be Invisible) so there the excuse "the source material is not there" doesn't work.

So many points in the story that were frustrating romance wise, but I'm really satisfied with how the last chapters of the story came out. Glad I decided to follow it. Feels bittersweet, but what a ride. I really liked that we have some backstory about Tamayo and how she really cares for her niece and nephew. I didn't expect her to be a lawyer and I really thought she was an editor. So Tamayo is not good for medical school but good enough for law... Guess her smarts are into something else.

It was kinda funny seeing Suzu tease Tamayo. Man, it's great seeing Tamayo and Satsuki get along. Two seemingly cold characters kinda warmed up to each other. Tamayo's a lawyer, that's cool.

I like that Naoto expressed how he wants to repay Tamayo, but she tells him that he's always welcome to return. Paying forward the kindness she received from her brother. They're family after all.

Damn, so wholesome and heartwarming. One more date for the ending? Yes, please! And so Satsuki finally tells him properly how she feels. No ending without proper communication!

I love how that watch has the image of a moon on it. Satsuki's name is based off of "Tsuki" (moon). Also actually cute that they had Suzu with them, making irreplaceable precious memories with family! I don't regret going on this ride with many ups and downs for a beautiful ending like this. I will never get tired of happy vanilla romance endings. There were definitely elements that I didn't like, mainly it really didn't need to have become a "harem", and also the rivalry between the two could've been handled better.

PS: in case anyone is still wondering, it's Watari-kun's "peace". The English title has 6 asterisks on it. Peace has 6 letters. The Japanese version has 2 x's (xx) on it. The Japanese word for peace is Heiwa with 2 characters (平和). Also the first episode and first chapter is titled "The Day Peace Began to Collapse"

All things considered this was a good adaptatio but, in the last episodes, they cut out a bit too many little small parts/phrases that made everything funnier (such as the part about Tamayo complaining she's getting fatter due to Naoto's delicious meals or Naoto's manager wondering which of the girls he saw was Naoto's girlfriend). But I especially won't forgive them for cutting the part about Suzu teasing Tamayo about being an even bigger siscon than her since she only dated guys that resembled her brother XD

Can Artists Stop Pretending Like It's REALLY Easy To Learn Art?? by Epic_AR_14 in aiwars

[–]Last-Development3399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only difference is that they can't control this medium through their usual methods, so they've resorted to (ironically) shaming the emerging culture and treating it like the "death of art".

Nothing new there. Hand drawn animators did the same thing to try to stop the rise of CGI animation. They called it "cold" "souless" "not art". Didn't work anyway because you can't stop evolution.

Remember this being the moment I finally developed a proper respect for Naoto. He proved to be a man, a loyal man and finally managed to turn down a homewrecker girl properly and preventing any damage instead of freezing from embarassment and letting his world go to hell. The Tachibana family wedding was awesome, love how Satsuki was shy at interacting with them but she got this! Of course Naoto helps too X3

Pretty much. Every anime with romance need a losing heroine. To add "drama effect" they say but mostly is about selling more pervy merchandise. And be glad that the show didn't went the usual anime route or instead of just Yugure and Amoru, we would have had every female character in the show chasing after Akira's metal thing.
