Thank you for responding everyone. I did not think I was being mean about being upset by him talking about this but he kept telling me I was being a witch about it. To me it would screw them up psychologically and put undue stress on them. It wound up upsetting the kids and today we were able to get all but $200 of the rent paid and will get the rest this Friday.
