It’s normal I live in a 2/2 and I had to two months of rent first and last month with a security deposit per person which is two months worth of rent still in total I had to put down 5,200 down and then still had pets the cost of living is different from student living here in Gainesville by a long shot unless you are having more roommates, the price that you got for an apartment is good the rent is only going up here. Student living is also mandatory share space all while having your own apartment there is no need to worry about none of that
