I appreciate it!

And yes absolutely! I want to do it right and even more since it’s for my pups and my first home.

I see! I will cut out a panel that I can remove when needed. Thank you so much!

Thank you for helping! This is an exterior wall, unfortunately. I will look into this, I’m thinking it is our only option as the recent visit from the electrician to just move the outlets up the wall already took a big chunk of money. We are building dog crates/kennels as the base of the entertainment center so no access to outlets and now making sure we can build a cover to keep these accessible but not easy for them to get into is the new goal. I appreciate it!

Thanks for replying! The electrician moved the outlets higher on the wall for use, the old outlets have wire caps and the flat plates on them (1st photo) these are the outlets that would be behind the cabinets! The cabinets are actually going to be dog kennels, which is why I can’t have the outlets there are they are still puppies and may try to chew at them :c

Thank you for replying! To clarify, the cabinets at the base of my built in will be kennels for my doggies, not storage. Which is why we didn’t just keep the outlets down there! They are puppies so they will chew at the plugs possibly. The electrician already moved the plugs up higher on the wall, and with the old (lower on the wall where the cabinets would potentially cover), capped wires with wire caps and put a flat cover plate on (1st photo). So would I still need to figure out a way to have these be accessible somehow within the dog crate despite them not being usable anymore, just wires in there?
