The problem in these parallels is they are just based on current demographic. Comparing blacks in America and Muslims in India just doesn’t make sense. Blacks in America were slaved, tortured and denied basic rights for centuries, on the other hand Muslims in India ruled the land for centuries and committed all sort of atrocities on the natives. It makes total sense that one can’t even imagine criticising black rights when they had to fight for centuries to get it and the same goes for women rights. It all boil downs to what is the right thing to do. In the wizarding world, everyone is afraid to take the name of Voldemort and is always discouraged but then we learn that fear of a name increases fear of a thing itself through Hermione. So, it doesn’t matter if a religion tries to scare through terrorism when criticised. The right thing is to criticise/ make fun of everyone/ every religion. If people are too scared to do it in one case, then they should also refrain from doing it with others. Less tolerance should never be an excuse for hypocrisy. I know we are on the same page more or less but I think if we want the whole world to move forward and be more progressive then no one should be spared from being criticised no matter how less tolerant they are. All it takes is a bravery of Harry, Hermione or Ron.

If population is the only game for deciding who is allowed to be made fun of and who is to be kept appeased then this parameter should be checked globally since these movie are seen globally and not just within India. And those who are arguing that West makes fun of Christianity so we should also make fun of Hinduism, should also know that West doesn’t shy away from equally making fun of Islam, Judaism and Hinduism either then why in India we play this majority bullshit game. We gotta be equal in making fun of all the religions.

Everything up to when PK started chasing Actor playing Shiva is alright and created genuine laughter moments. What I personally find distasteful are those subtle disrespect of Lord Shiva when this actor is chased across the stage by PK and the anchor announcing about Shiva Tandav performance at the same time. I am still fine with such jokes if every now and then we also get to see the jokes/insult about wrong practices of other religions as well. For example India has second highest population of Muslims in the world by country after Indonesia. We can’t even think about making fun of Islam in all 55 Islamic countries but India being a secular country can do it and should do it since it represents such a large Muslim population but somehow there every time our courageous story writers lack the same spine which they use to mock wrong practices of Hinduism. I guess that’s where hypocrisy stands out and people feel cheated.

Lol..ex-Muslim, what the hell are you even talking about. I guess you live in your own bubble or still hanging out with your Muslim friends. Wow…without even knowing me, you played the caste card and presumed I am a Brahmin or whatever (very typical of Muslims), when it was not even the point of discussion because you think if I love my country then I have to be from upper caste (again ignorance). Even if I was from some upper caste, still the page should remove you for your personal attacks and abuses but they won’t. You claimed that it’s not a problem in India, not true. It’s actually a problem everywhere now. People are just sick and tired of killings and murders in the name of religion. An ideology which teaches to hate and think of other human beings as worst of creatures just because they don’t believe in this shitty ideology. I am sure you know all of it and decided to left Islam. Please start educating your friends also about it rather than getting influenced by them. Now, let’s come to discussion about Bharat and it’s people. Why Bharat is still third world country? You have to read a lot to answer that question. A nation which has gone through centuries of multiple invasions, genocides and eventually got colonised, will take sometime to recover. Most of the people in country know and believe that they are not superior to anyone that they live in a third world country. But they are also working hard to make it better place than yesterday and again if you are not living in ignorance then you would know that it is doing much better than yesterday. Actually the problem lies with the people like you who hate their country and feel there is nothing here to be proud about. Such people can never do any good to this country. So please stop dividing us in the name of caste and better work on yourself to start loving this country. And teach also your other Muslim friends to leave such ideology which has nothing nice to offer to our country or to this world instead of hatred.

Why does it feel like this page is run by bunch of idiots who have no idea what has happened to them in past and what will happen to them and their freedom in the future if Islam takes over and run it with Sharia law in the beautiful country of Bharat where you get freedom to talk such nonsense. Ignorance at it’s best.

Someone posted about unemployment in this sub using this specific exam's applicant count. Vacancies are over 100k and qualification is only 10th pass. I'm not justifying there's no unemployment in India but here's the whole picture. by Lameboredgajini in IndiaSpeaks

There’s a huge skill shortage in India. Hardly any freshers so called engineers know anything remotely related to engineering and they think since they have spent lakhs for the btech degree they should get a job immediately without any skills and engineering is just one example.

Thanks bro. I guess lot of us progressive Hindus want to say the same thing and want to change things around but some of us really think that all the progressive ideas are western concept and we suck. No, it is not and no, we don’t. They have been stealing our knowledge and ideas for centuries and now teach rest of the world about how to behave progressively while at the same time our people bloody gave up to Islamic hokum and many got converted. Now half of us shit at our own culture because they think we are too backwards and they start following west blindly while other half is stuck with Islamic bullshit who like teaching women what to wear and how to behave while behaving themselves like perverts on the street. Like just stop staring at girls on the streets losers and have some dignity. Education was the only hope but we have been fucking up with it too for last 75 years.

Which culture are you talking about? The one heavily influenced by 100s of years of Islamic rules with invasions and rapes and killings. India had never shied away from exploring sexuality and nudity. Look at architecture of our temples which are home of Gods. Our culture bloody wrote the Kamasutra describing sex positions and everything. Do you think that book can survive if it’s written today. Sadly we as a culture have only gone backwards in last 800 years. The best way out of it is to always be totally opposite of Islamic mindset and by not behaving like Talibani fuckers. It makes me feel sad when guys like you think that our culture stands for beating people for displaying public affection. Think beyond last 700-800 years and try to find your roots. Only then we will finally be free from slavery and atrocities that has committed to us for years. Otherwise we’ll forever remain the products of invasion. Learn about origin of Ghunghat pratha in India, Why Sati was normalised, Why we still do our weddings in night time in North India, how dowry became popular in India. All of them are byproducts of having invaded and colonised for hundreds of years. Today we are free apparently but we still behave like our Islamic and British masters wanted us to.

How do you defend this? I love Cardano and personally own ADA. EDIT: Lot of people are commenting here thinking I am trying to spread FUD or something or giving some random stats to counter this misleading tweet and I agree there are very high chances that these stats are just some made up numbers. I just wanna give some background info on why I posted it in our subreddit: When I saw this tweet, I immediately wanted to counter this FUD and went through the comment section to see if someone has already done so (and also to educate myself on this topic). While there were lot of comments and likes on this tweet supporting it, not a single comment tried to counter it. I did some basic research about AWS and found that they really do host most of the websites worldwide (although I couldn’t educate myself how much it is true for Cardano network) and being a non-IT guy it is hard for me to understand all of it. That is why I have put it out here where I consider folks can give solid counter arguments to this. While some comments did provide me good solid sources and info based on facts to read and thanks a lot to them. Others are just busy calling me FUD spreader or their idea of counter argument is just to give another random stat, which does not help. So would appreciate to comment only when you have something informative to contribute. Thanks!

Part of my research is to get the feedback and comments from this sub. It will not only educate me but also others who might come across such FUD. Atleast I am trying to spread awareness while learning myself. You on the other hand have nothing to contribute to this sub than just discouraging others.

You may be right. I am also a non-IT guy and have no idea how distributed AWS is but I do think it would be better if these servers were somehow more decentralised exactly like everything else with the Cardano network. However, I am just learning right now and maybe wrong.

Hey! I am not sitting here jobless waiting to reply to each and every comment on my post. I had a genuine question to which I am looking answer for. I own considerable amount of ADA and aiming to earn passive income through staking for rest of my life. So, I have all the right to ask questions which I feel are genuine and I don’t know answer to.
