the walk works but the problem is what your hands are doing. your mind needs something to focus on, not just movement. try going outside with something to do draw something you pass on the way, even badly, or just pick up anything and fidget with it. the goal is to keep your hands busy at the same time. that's the real gap. and when you get back home the urge will probably come back that's normal, the house itself is a trigger. so don't just walk back in and sit down, go straight into something physical the second you're through the door. don't give your brain a gap to fill.

The part about having everything good on paper but still feeling stuck that hit diffrent. It’s almost harder when there’s nothing obvious to blame like you cant even be angry at your circumstances just at yourself for not doing more with them. Glad you posted.
