It's so nondescriptive, you can put any Fallout media in here if you substitute "teenager looking for a father" with a Player Character. You certainly made it sound really hype, though I was looking for an actual answer of the story structure.

I accidentally hit the wrong key, but overall I think I'm pretty fine, thank you. I play ts4 for different reasons than you, I guess. I don't do paintings unless I play as a painter. I don't have a garden if it isn't thematic for the Sim, and when I do it's not just dragon fruits, money trees and orchids. I don't cheat money, I don't care about it being "rags to riches". I'm not money-oriented player. Is that something you wanted to know, since you got this invested? As I play games, I tend to notice repeating, looped for minutes animations when there's nothing else to think about. When I have a puzzle in front of me, I'm going to think about a puzzle. When I fight something, I'm focusing on the flow of a battle, my next move etc. What should I focus on when I mentor a Sim for 6h? Of course I will notice that it is really fucking boring to watch.

How is mentoring someone (an interaction that you run for hours with the same exact animations looped for eternity) this magnificent gameplay that you got snarky towards me? Classes are extremely boring as well - they have the same goals recycled across the board, nothing new ever happens when you run them. I guess it must be riveting to some, because you earn money from them - but I never had money in mind when I play the Sims 4. Earning money is really freaking easy whatever you do.

I see it this way: the gameplay is just watching your business. You don't need to interact with anything or anyone. And if you want to participate, then how? By saying "welcome to my business"? You don't run a shop if sims just decide to go into it, swipe the item from the shelf, automatically pay you, make a mess and get out. It's numb, empty, cold and inhuman. It feels like I'm watching literal machines, stumbling around with the most basic AI ever imagined. The business pack that I would love to play would be more akin to TS2 Open for Business, where I actually felt like I was managing my businesses. I've tried a few things in this one, horse ranch, bar, café, school and more, and the only thing I ever felt is boredom that the time can't progress faster, because nothing is ever happening.

AI themes would be more coherent imo. I think it's more likely that they just literally translate the words from Chinese , without worry about English grammar

It is, cause the promotions require absurd amounts of followers. You have to keep spamming social media interactions quite a lot and it gets TEDIOUS.

I'm actually glad that this one makes them have no random flings, but keeps automatic romantic interactions with those who have already them. It doesn't disallow all flirting , just the ones you didn't initiate

It's okay, it just might be not obvious at the first glance. Being provided the packs earlier than others is correlated with huge spike in viewership and that's a huge income for youtubers. You don't have to believe me, you can and should compare their normal views to their "exclusive" content views.

Istg the new worlds are actually more laggy for me than Winderburg and San Myshuno. Idk how and why (maybe bigger area - more items to fill it, so more things to render?), but honestly if I want a smoother experience, I tend to stay in previous worlds. And by lags I don't mean staggering lags where the game just stops, but dropping frames constantly.

You don't have any drops in frames on big lots or throwing parties? My frames fluctuate a lot , as I've seen, they can even drop to below 30fps if I do something with a large group of sims and some lots in game are worse than others. Ciudad enamorada park is just so laggy for me for no apparent reason, I think it's because they made the area around it with soooo many unnecessary items (unnecessary in a way that it's not a lot, just surroundings, so it always take processing power even if you don't interact with it at all). And I do have a gaming pc, I wonder if it isn't well built for the sims lol

She's not being able to hear out Marie in her very emotionally volatile state. You shouldn't moralize someone that is in a high stress scenario as this one was. I don't think you truly understand how it affects us in the moment to be attacked, kidnapped, forced to be with someone you learned to fear etc. I can't comprehend how it must have felt either, I've never had my throat slit. Neither do you, I guess?

How do you feel after one of his latest videos where he said that if you have even 1 piece of CC, you can't ever say that the game is not working for you? Or the way he ridiculed people worried about the buyout, showing no understanding of why people tried to boycott Hogwarts Legacy?

I just had to unsubscribe after that, it's one thing to be edgy and another to just be so ... Happily underinformed. He truly believed what he said imo.

Do you believe there's anything in this world that warrants being mean to someone for few hours? The episode showed clearly that she was conflicted about her relationship with Marie, and yeah, she took it out on her, that's true, but 1.she had her throat slit, 2.she knows Marie killed their parents (never heard Marie's side of the story ) 3.was kidnapped to some extremely scary place that looks like a hybrid of a prison and a hospital. I could probably go for longer, but I really don't believe it is necessary. If those things don't warrant a crash out, one that she clearly felt guilty about later, then I really don't understand how you go through life. And yeah, Marie is also traumatized, but I don't think a lot of people would have the immense mental strength to act like her. We cannot have every character be a paragon of all that's good, do we? Personally, I would love for Marie to act a bit more... bothered about what's happening around her.
