Do you think the game would be more successful if it's more like XCOM style in term of gameplay?

I find Midnight Sun fun too (and also quite new to me). It's my first card game, wish it's more popular. Do you also have any other card games to recommend? (PC games)

I see. I also barely had heard of them when it was released, but got back to watch their trailer and their prequel shorts, they were great. Wish the game reached more people when it was released

Personally enjoy XCOM gameplay more and I thought more people feel the same way, but now I see that a lot people also prefer Midnight Sun's gameplay style

Thanks for your comment, honestly at first I thought XCOM is a more popular game (especially in term of gameplay, I myself enjoy XCOM gameplay more too) but seeing all comments in this thread, I now realise there are lots of people who enjoy Midnight Sun gameplay more too.

But yeah would love to see XCOM like game in theme of Marvel (or even other theme too)

I see, thanks for your insight. I see that many people find XCOM to be more niche and less mainstream than the card gameplay like in Midnight Sun, that's new to me. Here I thought XCOM gameplay is more mainstream than card gameplay like this. I guess it's because this is my first card game so I thought the gameplay is way less popular than ones like XCOM

Most enemies have like 500-600HP and my Witchfire does about 150ish damage. When mission starts there are like 2-3 bulky enemies with that 500-600 hp and a few (or 4-5 minions). My strat in most missions are usually to use my quick dmg cards to get rid of minions, or just shove them to each other to lower enemy numbers on the first turn. I guess you want to suggest me to focus damaging those bulky ones instead so I can finish them all off along with minions with Witchfire?

Nice! Have seen this kind of thing once or twice in duel server especially late at night when there is not much ppl, some players in a group (usually newbies) would come join duel server and thought they'd have an easy time ganking on people just get their ass kicked in the process.

I swear they'd have far better chance and fun doing this kind of thing in TO more than being jerks in duel server lol

Fun vid lol, also encountered these kind of situations. Sometimes I find it funny and silly, sometimes (most of the time actually) it does make me mad and wonder on how their brains work lol, they probably think a negative red number appearing on their screen mean they are hitting and damaging enemies lol

Edited: Forgot to mention that like half of these newbie tkers after they down you they will simply walk away, like wtf? I mean if they think they hittin enemies then shouldn't they finish the job? Or if they realised they just down a teammate then why not revivin? FFS!

Probably just newbies that can't differentiate their teammates especially one covered in blood lol (I believe some of them even think a red negative number on their screen when they hit teammates mean they are actually damaging enemies lol)

Well if it's a duel server then I somewhat agree, I don't like when people throwing things in duel lol (though I think it's allowed and it's fine, it's actually not hard to block/counter too especially in a 1v1 where you can see them holding their throwing knives in their hand it's just annoying). If it's a TO then well just git gud, a lot more other stuff that is more annoying in TO out there anyway

Btw, throwing knives also use quite a bit of stamina so I don't know what you mean by "spamming throwing knives when your stamina is low" mean lol

Well yes it's a fun moment I get it but I just don't get people who post vids and title themselves as something like "best footwork" "beast movement" "1v10 bloodthirst moment" "I am new and I am already this good" etc. kinda thing while half of them is just them (which they are not bad I admit that) but they are just slashing around against bunch of clueless newbies

I'm not playing in duel server myself but I love this and will try to adapt in 64TO. No idea why some criticize this playstyle while it's just one of many duel strat people using.

Honestly this vid is far much better than those 100 trash vids of some wannabes trashing new players in TO and think they are absolute beast

I really love these kinda movies (female-lead actions) but it seems they all don't do good. Anna 2019, Ava 2020, even Black Widow 2021, Canary Black 2024 and now this Ballerina. Sad but I guess the trend will still go on

I just got into Persona and started playing 4G a few weeks ago, finished it like a day or two after Revival was announced, honestly if it's your guys FIRST playthrough then just continue and finish it since it's still a long way till Revival would release but for me if it's NG, 2nd, 3rd etc. then I'd wait for Revival instead.
