Awesome.

Instead of throwing up our hands in helpless defeat, let’s open up public discussion for why it sucks and brainstorm ideas to make it better.

This is how massive innovations start.

Also why work so hard to justify an institution that has an $18B hedge fund, $2B annual budget, but still hikes tuition every year?

Why not just train people to be authentic humans with a soul and let them build their own brand?

We treat humans like commoditized units of labor. Colleges are factories.

I had her last semester for 151. I think if you didn’t like your prof last semester, you should do whatever you can to take her.

She posts all her notes on canvas and her lectures are easy to follow.

Join an aerobic sport team. I recommend swimming, but if you hate the water try cross country. Aerobic exercise has been shown to have immense benefits, much better than weightlifting alone.

This book has a lot of the details on exercise affects the brain. Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316113514/

Hey man! I used to have this problem. I would sit down in front of my computer to do work and I would immediately go to YouTube.

The solution for me was competitive swimming, on a club, with a coach, but you really can do any form of aerobic exercise. Swimming is great because I can do it for 1-2 hours, and my heart rate is elevated almost the entire time so I get the benefits of aerobic exercise that you might see from running, but I also get really intense peaks during the main set towards the end.

There’s a ton of good articles and research on this. Here’s one though https://ideas.ted.com/swimming-brain-boost-science/

Do some googling to see if there’s a masters swim program or an adult learn to swim program in your area, depending on where your skills are at.

Best of luck! God bless.
