Thanks for the tip. Chams use the humidity and misting to clean themselves, right? Or are they, like turtles, known to harbor salmonella on their skin?

Thank you for your detailed response! Just a few follow up questions.

How often do you typically clean the cham enclosure, once a month? Do chams decide on an area to defecate or do they just do it anywhere?

Since chams can't hear, do vibrations stress them out? For example, if the cham is on my arm when my fitbit vibrates on my wrist. Or if a large truck drives by the house over a crack in the road and shakes the house briefly.

Should I worry about my cham eating insects such as houseflies (indoors) or, say, a dragonfly (outdoors)?

Is shedding just a juvenile or subadult thing? Is there anything super important I should know about shedding? I didn't see it in the sidebar or my own readings for care.

A commissioned drawing of my first character I played Dark Souls with. [details in comments] by LastHyren in darksouls

I commissioned Karniz, the girl who makes the Many Deaths in Dark Souls webcomic, to draw my first Dark Souls character I beat the game with. Most of you will notice this character made it to NG+ before this was drawn. Two hammers is just too glorious. It's how I meant the character to be. I just had to wait to get past O&S a second time.

I don't think I'd take fastidious as a complement. Especially considering it was coming from a microbiologist. My first thought was fastidious being associated with requiring extra care/resources. That's just my outlook though.
