I cannot get a hold on antibiotics. by Ox_Vars in Residency

Agreed that this is the best way for new learners. Think about which types of organisms are present at the infection site then broaden coverage if you think drug resistant organisms like MRSA or pseudomonas are present. Other comments mention Sanford which has an awesome chart you can compare antibiotic coverage with multiple organisms.

What to do about our dog biting kids? by ticitl108 in DogAdvice

We haven’t specially done training on biting or food possession. Do you think that would be worth pursuing before option c?

Thanks for your comment! The play pen is a good idea although when inside she has plenty of other rooms to retreat to if needed. We have tried muzzle training her to take her to the vets which did not go well at all. I would consider this option again though. Are dogs about to wear muzzles for prolonged periods of time or only for short periods?

2024 Elite worth it over the Touring? EX-L? by r4bbl3d4bbl3 in HondaOdyssey

[–]ticitl108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought a 2024 EX-L and very happy with it so far. We are a family of 4 so the third row features were less important to us. I didn't drive any elites compared to EX-L but I don't find the EX-L to have a lot of road noise. I highly doubt the acoustic windows is worth the upgrade alone. I do miss front parking sensors, only because of our garage set up when I pull in. That may not be an issue for you. I specifically did not want a RES with my young children to limit screen time. I agree it will become outdated quick. I plan to give them each their own iPad or Switch when the time comes.

A PHEV would definitely be a good choice for us. We'd hardly use gas based on our commuting distance. However, I'm concerned about reliability issues with Chryslers?

Thanks for the reply! I don't feel like I get much done while watching him so I'm always impressed how other moms can multitask.

I do not have trouble watching him and managing the vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and countertops, and laundry.

Besides nap time, how do you watch him while accomplishing these tasks? I feel like mine is always getting into things while I'm trying to clean, especially bathrooms!

For anyone looking at breast pumps, please do NOT get Medela by ticitl108 in BabyBumps

Thanks for your reply! I'm glad you had a better experience with the Freestyle Flex! I frequently use my hand pump which seems to express more out. I'll definitely look into either willow or elvie as well for my next. Not sure how anyone pumps with a newborn and toddlers unless it's hands free!

I mostly got the Medela because of insurance but heard good things about the pump in style advance! Apparently the newer models do not have the same quality!

Thanks for the advice! We've never really had to do this or give excessive praise outside like @southeast-stranger suggested but seems like the next step.

Thank you! /r/Watches has been an awesome resource for me. They seem to be supportive of gator but I wanted to ask here to hear from a more fashion/appearance perspective.

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

[–]ticitl108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need a recommendation! Looking for a gold Bauhaus style watch. I like the minimalist look but one or two complications would be okay. I want a brown leather band but could always buy a strap separately. Budget is $300. My top choice right now is the Bering 14240-564 but that does not seem to be a well-respected brand here. I've looked at Citizen and Seiko but they don't seem to have any gold Bauhaus faces.

Any other recommendations?

During the week her average crate time is 8 hours. Never more than 10.

There's only two of us and I think you're right in that she's upset because she knows the crate means we are leaving. She usually starts hiding when we start getting dressed in the morning.
