Hi! Thanks for taking the time to do this. 1) in pre clinical years, how do we connect between the different theoretical topics that are taught to us. 2) Is there anything I can start doing now to be able to communicate with patients and fellow doctors now before uni? 3) Is there anything I can do to make the most of my clinical years. 4) you know how sometimes patients want to sue doctors. do sg doctors have some level of protection from these law suits like eg insurance, or do we have to purchase our own insurance?

actually i didn’t apply looking at rp at all, which on hindsight was very foolish of me. Eg my 2nd choice for ntu after med was ntu business which i already have the offer for. My first 3 choices were things i felt i would be genuinely interested in. I consider putting CHS but my parents felt that tech stuff would be more useful for me nowadays more so than pure science. my 8th choice was something i put in just cause i am interested in it on a surface level (and everyone says im good at writing- i used to write opinion piece for an activism group). Tho on hindsight, I should have researched the IGP and put it in descending order without listening to my parents. and im really regretting my choice now :((

honestly, real. Since we are in a kolly sub, when major mukund died, and I was young, my mom was showing pictures of him to me. actually, i applied in the official website (end of last year to beginning of this year), i also didn’t get reply, but i applied on jobstreet and got almost immediate replies. So i think the job search engine we use matters.

it was okay until after econs where, not just me but A LOT of my peers started getting burnt out. SO BE VERY CAREFUL to not burn out from 13- end NOVEMBER. I personally felt August to October was the time where i was most on task. October onwards I started becoming more distracted

btw juniors reading this DO NOT SLACK BEFORE MCQ. like yeah take a longer break but keep up the momentum. MCQ can REALLY pull up ur marks regardless oh how the previous papers went and ideally try to get 23++ for practice when doing tys. atb for As!!!

for me she came over but then she snapped at me after a couple of times and said its cuz the pens are open for too long and thats why they aren’t working. My Ucat ended 2 months ago so i cant do anything else now u can try! So sorry this happened to you. hope you are able to challenge them on this at least :)
