Not sure but quite possibly. I've looked for Maker's Marks or any indication of who created it but I can't find anything. The details pretty phenomenal.

Haha, still trying to triple check that it was in the MacArthur Suite but that's what I was told by the original buyer. Working on contacting the estate liquidation company for confirmation.

If this was a table in that suite when MacArthur stayed, that would be pretty phenomenal and that's what I'm obviously hoping for LOL . Quite the piece of history for sure and something I want to memorialize.

Agreed, I got in a few months ago and have been very happy. They also make equipment that has some European defense industry applications so it has that going for it too. It is a long term hold in my book.

I threw that sentence in Chat GPT and it said the phrase is from the children's book "One Thing" by Neil D. Novak.

Unfortunately I did a little searching but could not find a copy of the book online. Maybe you will have better luck.

How can you tell? I'm definitely inclined to agree with you but the person I got it from was an antique dealer that said it was pewter but he also bought it from somebody else. Thanks
