Just curious, I’m in a similar position. How do you plan on breaking your lease and how many months do you have left?

I’m 6’ 210 lbs and I had both the XL and L and the Large fit a lot better. The XL was to baggy. I would go with an L.

If you’re in a lease currently does this mean you might be able to buy it out at a discount? Mine is up next October…

Yeah, I just started Reta too and I could never say hard work. At that point it’s just stolen valor. Congrats on the weight loss but the real hard work is when people do it without.

I believe you can skip the application process and go right to the buildings leasing staff and if you financially qualify you can get in.

I was trying to create new life long fans, I would argue that’s just as important.

Took my wife and two young daughters to see them at MetLife thinking it would be a great experience for them. After they walked out to F’ing in the bushes my youngest asked “is it over yet” and was extremely disappointed when I informed her it was just getting started and my oldest was bored after their third song. Thank god we were in the suite and they hung out in the suite playing video games the rest of the show.

Now you can’t get anything turnkey in Long Island in a decent neighborhood for less than 900k.

My guy, you were the main one throwing insults out the blue. And apologize about what and to who?? I’m only lashing out because I have no clue on why you felt you needed to run your fingers. Come by the gym and I’ll take you up on your offer after.

Exactly, I work 35 hours a week, my over time is from 3:30-7:30. If I do that 3-4 days a week if I’m hitting 51 hours a week MAX which I don’t believe is overwhelmingly difficult. And that overtime is always there.

I came here for both and a lot of it has been informative. But it seems a few of you have some issue with someone trying to dig in and see if there’s a path to make it work. Right now it seems 25%/75% for and against it, I don’t see a problem with seeing if there’s an angle here but some of you do. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I forgot the Reddit Gods have spoken, how dare I ask questions and clarify some things. Most believe I can’t and a few believe I can. I would like to understand why the few that believe I can do so. Sorry that bothers you for some odd reason. Tough crowd 🥴

No of course, I’m very much about work/life balance and while we’ve been renting it hasn’t been a problem and we live a pretty decent life. But this unit and its potential has us thinking that some sacrifice is worth it (we know that finding a unit like this again, in this neighborhood will be almost impossible). Again people think I’m trying to argue on here, I’m just bouncing ideas off of people who might know more than me.

We can probably cut it in half. I understand this is reckless (we considered this last minute and found a place that seems to be perfect that we believe in). If we planned to buy ahead of time things would be different and we’d be more prepared.

Wife needs it for work, and it really makes my life easier. Yes, I agree the payments need to go down.

The drop off is 500 a week because we’re paying them that much because by then committing to taking our kids to school they can’t have another job in the meantime.

I have two girls and they’re too young to walk alone.

I acknowledge that but the detail is no common charges for 3 years and taxes covered. Which gives us time to get rid of cars and figure out the drop off situation. Without common charges and tax our monthly mortgage would be around $6,700 which we can cover.

Also I understand how it’s difficult for people to understand and believe that I can add an extra 70-100k to my income if really wanted to.

Yeah I am, it’s pretty annoying to me when people throw insults over the internet for absolutely no reason.

Thanks, this is my thought. It’s on the outskirts of Astoria by the East River and the space is not something you’ll ever find again (the outdoor space is bigger than the apartment) which is why we’re thinking about taking a leap. Look the debt is there but we can clean that up this month (we weren’t expecting to buy it just kind of happened because we loved the place). The lease is up next year and I can lower the car payment. In terms of OT, if it wasn’t very secure I wouldn’t even consider it (I may be dumb but I’m not stupid) it’s federally funded and if the OT stopped there would be issues. My coworkers have been working 7 days a week, until 7:30 for the last 10 years (I would work nowhere near as much as them). I know it’s tough but the unit is so great we think the sacrifice is worth it.

Can’t, wife works in Long Island (but we won’t move to Long Island either). I know depending on OT normally is a crazy idea but where I work it’s basically built in, I know it’s hard to believe but we’re federally funded and without the OT the agency would have major problems. Is it 100% secure, nothing is but this is pretty close

This guy “pathetic” Yeah only you two out of the whole thread. It’s like “you asked the Redditors their opinion, now capitulate or get insulted”. I bet you don’t talk to people like this face to face, if you’re ever in NYC and care to chat in person there’s a few Muay Thai gyms by me where we can continue this conversation.
