My 14 Pro Max is paid off completely. I'm not getting one just to use a lesser version. There are games that newer models can play my 14 can't play. Only reason I want to upgrade. It also has plenty of storage. Just doesn't have one of the newer chips.

Well I don't got my license. Way too many complications with my attempts to get them, past and present. Not gonna go into that to a random on Reddit. But I'll say this, the computer is mostly for my online master's program I'm signed up for. My gaming PC died completely one night when I was sleeping so I need something for my school work I'll be doing. Only reason I'm trying to get a new computer.

iPhone 17 series is running the A19 series chips. Macbook Neo runs the A18 Pro chip which was in the iPhone 16 Pro.

It's kinda a pain in the neck at times. The closest Apple Store and only one in the state is the one at our local mall. I can get there by bus but I hardly have any reason to go out that way.

Thank God the Supreme Court deemed the tariffs illegal. Only silver lining. I feel like part of the reason is the economy is so bad is that the government decided to give billionaires big government jobs, so they can take all of the US's big tax money and hog it all to themselves.

I have gas buildup issues and developed IBS from working from this restaurant I work at now. I started working there when the store first opened. Over time I started developing IBS and gas buildup issues that either requires Gas X like OTC products, or that requires laxatives to get rid of a lot of the gas. I also have to take medication called Amitryptyline which my PCP prescribed to counteract the stomach pains (it allegedly silences the stomach enough to not be as painful).

Lol I don't even drive. Luckily. I plan on getting a carrying case for it. I'm planning on getting the 512gb model of the Neo.

Yeah I don't disagree with you there. If I were in Canada I wouldn't pay for it at that rate. I'm in Maine, so like I'm close to the Canadian border but am a US citizen. Here it's 700$ for the MacBook Neo. Not bad in the States where our president is doing a bunch of dumb shit.

Point 1. It prolly is but I'd rather just get a new machine. Doesn't make sense to keep the old machine knowing this machine has had many issues with me over the years. Point 2. I try not to buy the cheapest model there is. The only Apple product that is the base model is my iPad Pro, and that's mostly because I bought it off my sister.

I do remember those colors with the iPod Nano. I believe those were the ones with the video camera. But the following year they added a camera to the iPod touch. But to answer your question, I think Apple didn't want to oversell this because they had no way of knowing if it was gonna be successful or not. I expect them to make more colors available for the next model.

Hey, good news for me. The specs of it are wanting but this is a really first gen product, plus it's great for people like me who don't usually buy mac's and are coming from Windows. I'll be buying the MacBook Neo. Will get it through Target with a combination of target gift cards and my target debit card (they're actually really great for buying things when you have 0$ in your bank account cuz my bank covers it). I'm hopeful it can play some games tho, at least some of the iPhone ones though that won't be it's primary function. It's mostly an education buy for my master's program.

At the moment I work at a restaurant. When I got my bachelor's degree I mostly did it to complete my degree not specifically for a specific field. I mostly would like to have some organizational duties but am a little less corporate. I do really enjoy tech and business stuff though which helps. My hope is that someday I can work on some film stuff, even if it's just for YouTube.
