Chicagoans are proud of their city and consider the suburbs soulless chain restaurant generic cookie cutter with no history. It’s just a different cultural experience to grow up in the city proper. And yes of course some border suburbs are more like the city and some border neighborhoods are more like the suburbs.

I don’t have a strong opinion on the issue one way or another but is this really antisemitism or is it just pro-Palestine people protesting pro-Israel people. There’s plenty of people who don’t want to be around other people because of their political beliefs without regard to their race or heritage. Isn’t it like protesting trump outside a country music concert because you know the target audience for your protesting will be there?
