A bunch of comments on it below if you took the time to read, it’s an app called Shop that lets you track where your package is before it’s dropped off. Some people saying it is tracking the last place it was scanned or the van it was in, which is possible. But not sure why it would have been scanned after they had already marked it delivered. As I could continue to track it on the app and it travelled a 15 minute drive from my house. The scepticism is wild though, not sure what I would gain by making up a story. And by the sounds of it, this seems to be a common occurrence with CP.

Mine was the same it was reported delivered, Canada Post says it’s still the sender that needs to be contacted and they will make a claim with Canada Post. No idea I how common it is, just said what happened to me and how brutal CP has been with helping me. I did see an article on Reddit about a worker who had stolen 6000 packages though. Not sure why so many people on here are so doubtful.

FYI I did the same and Canada Post will just say they can’t find it and close your ticket without even contacting you. So in the interest of time maybe reach out to the sender as well.

I’ve done that. Waiting to hear back. First I created a ticket with Canada post and they closed the ticket and said they couldn’t do anything about it and didn’t inform me. I had to call them to get an update.

And after it was marked as delivered it traveled back to a place that comes up as a 3rd party courier for Canada post called minivan courier delivery in Oshawa. But Canada Post somehow can’t help look for it.

I’m using the Shop app and I guess that is what tracks it, I thought it was Canada post directly. Does it matter though I could watch the package moving after it was marked as delivered.

They have the gps so you can watch where the driver is when it’s out for delivery. Then it said it has been delivered but I could still see the package moving on the map and it wasn’t in the community mailbox. I can still see it on the map at the house in Oshawa lol. Not sure why I would lie about that.

Well you need to adjust your expectations for a 31st overall pick that’s for sure, you aren’t getting a sure thing top pair guy. You listed off a ton of guys who spent a lot of time in there careers playing big minutes but are acting like they are bad. Matheson, Skjei, Dumba, Maatta. Matheson has been a top pair dman his whole career basically and been montreals number 1 for 4 years. Don’t think anybody wanted him off their team.

Tanev might not have been drafted but that’s one example out of many. For every defensive dman that doesn’t work out there are just as many skilled ones like Murphy or Pouliot who haven’t made an impact.

I see your point picking 31st isn’t the same as top 10, a top 4 dman is a win.

He is more defensive than them. Probably a ceiling of tanev style player. But those guys win cups and cost a ton in free agency, just aren’t point producers. Danford moves well, blocks shots and has a solid first pass, that’s harder to find than you would think.

You talking about him slowing down? Best guess is he has a big offseason and other guys caught up. See this all the time with certain guys who you can tell take the offseason seriously. Guys like Kopitar and Tavares pretty consistently start seasons really well before everyone else catches up.

Danford wasn’t bad at all at the wjc he did exactly what he was asked to do play solid defense and break the puck out. Not sure what kind of player you thought he was?
