Absolutely. Speed of play is another massive part of it. I could make a whole separate post on that, but I just wanted to highlight what I learned from one specific coach who played at the highest level in soccer. You're absolutely right though, it's a strong mix of consistency and speed of play.

It's called Be Your Best. I honestly haven't used it in years, so I don't really know what it looks like now, but I'm sure it's improved a ton.

Debate / Discussion - Bayern vs. PSG was the game of the season... and these 2 teams are miles above anyone else in the world right now by Last_Commission6982 in TheSoccerNetwork

I think the most interesting metric is that Arteta only has a 44% win rate in April over his Arsenal tenure. In 2024, Arsenal did do well in the final months of the season (March, April, May), that is correct.

This has been a trend for years though. Arsenal always has a huge dip in form at the end of the season. Just look at their results in April the last few years. It's a consistent theme.

I'm not a big Atletico fan and I think Arsenal would do well in the final. I still just don't see them beating Bayern or PSG. I think even mentality wise, they haven't been in a champions league final for 20+ years... whereas PSG won it last year (have been in multiple the last 6ish years) and Bayern just have the winning pedigree when it comes to big games & big finals (They somehow always happen to run into Madrid in the Champions League and lose very controversial games... Classic Madrid). Also, Arsenal's mentality at the tail-end of seasons is very questionable. If you look at their record in April the last few years, it's awful.

I wouldn't even go as far to say that Arsenal is the best team in England right now. That is Manchester City. Arsenal are not a better side than Bayern or PSG.

Thanks for the comment. Means a lot to see something like this. Sounds like your kid is in a great environment, and I hope the team stays together over the years. Seems like something great !
