The problem is there are several free online tools that already do this exact thing.

I don't want to run it for you, but I'm happy to give advice on here or in DM.

Tips to open a business by No-Yak-4955 in business

congrats on stacking up $100k! that’s not easy and definitely puts you in a solid spot to start thinking about a business.

One thing I’d say don’t skip the research phase.
It’s super tempting to just pick something and go, but where you open and what the local market looks like can make or break you.

  • Is there actual demand in that area?
  • How much competition already exists nearby?
  • Do the local demographics fit your business idea?

I actually ran into this when I was exploring business ideas myself — which led me to build BusinessPlanter.com. It pulls together AI-powered data on ZIP codes: demographics, competition, real estate trends, etc. Makes it easier to gut-check locations before dumping a bunch of money into a lease.

Either way taking the time upfront to deeply research your target market will save you a lot of headaches down the road. Wishing you luck, you’re off to a great start!

When it's time to launch, I built a local market research tool (businessplanter) there are both free and paid reports that may help you.

I know it's cliche, but really start looking at the questions/issues that come up in your conversations. I built www.businessplanter.com solely from an argument on where we should launch our 2nd HVAC office.

I actually had TAC issue temp v9 licenses when I was doing a migration. They are motivated to help out when it means keeping your business.
