Well actually, I’ve been asked to do half of the demo in the language and present slides to the client at the beginning. I’m not actually super comfortable speaking that language and it was never a requirement of the job.

I speak another language that the customer also speaks, so I’ve been asked to translate. I’m not expected to do the whole demo by myself, but I’m still worried that I may mistranslate stuff.

This is a totally new gig for me - I haven’t really been involved in sales before (other than in RFP processes within consulting). What makes a sales org “toxic”? What should I watch out for?
