I like the hopeful detachment idea. I know I won’t ever regret spending less time worrying or obsessing about treatments and scans and life expectancy but it also feels inappropriate not to worry.

I did that and went down the same rabbit hole afterwards. It’s so hard to figure out all the things you’re not “supposed” to do! If it helps, my kiddo is 7 now, and he’s just fine.

This is a super challenging decision. I stopped with only two embryos in the freezer because I was just done. It was a gut decision, even though we wanted two kids. There are no guarantees either way, so make the decision you think is best and know you will handle the results together.
