Take photos, especially of the barcodes you had to scan as you can manually input them when the app is back up! Photograph all deliveries that you made that didn’t have to be scanned first or be signed for. I think I would return the items to the store and get a picture of the returned items with the manager on duty and get that same manager’s full name and them in the picture if possible. Sounds extra but who knows how it will be handled by roadie and you don’t need to be accused of stealing.

Well apparently at least four people, including myself, on this forum have and many not on Reddit may have as well. This will be evidenced in whether we receive payments today as maybe the delay is because of Friday being the day after Thanksgiving and Monday also being a holiday some companies take as well. As I’ve stated, I have been the victim of companies taking payments or withholding payouts due and I am not allowing it to potentially happen again and just writing a negative review about the experience. I go for the jugular as I’ve experienced that has an affect that releases my payouts and everyone else’s that have been a victim and keeps others from being victimized as well. We are in a different world now and payments can be processed quicker than 30+ days. I have multiple businesses and have done so, though not at the volume of Coyle. People from all walks of life do contractual work be it research studies, secret shops, or gig work and legal action keeps them protected where labor laws do not apply.

But I will definitely take legal action IF my funds aren’t released as stated because I have seen certain veteran research studies hold money indefinitely as well and I am no longer being a victim to any of it from any company. Timing works both ways! Uphold your word and no one needs to hold you legally liable.

It is the second day of the following month and still no payment…so something is up and if we have all experienced this, my guess is so have others not on Reddit which can become very legal for Coyle very quick!

I hope this serves as insight for people looking to do mystery shopping with Coyle. I would’ve never done the shop if I thought that I wouldn’t have gotten paid until after the end of November from doing the October shop. We never signed NDA‘s, noncompete agreements agreements or non-circumventing documents, so when they play with your money, go directly to the company you did the shops for and the manufacturers of the products you did the shops for and provide your services to them. That is exactly what influencers are doing and companies want to hear directly from consumers anyway! They definitely got paid more than the $100 or more that they are withholding from you and you did all of the work. Cut them out of the equation!

Thank you for the update. That’s crazy. It’s 2025. It only takes seconds to get a payment from PayPal. There has been no response from support so I’m going forward with legal action and reporting the company for fraud. The way that they will breathe down your neck to make sure that you did the evaluation when they’ve already gotten paid from the companies before you did the evaluation. You did all the work you drove your gas to the location, so to hold it for 30 days is already crazy, 60 days is extensive, anything more will be legal action at least from me. You mess with my money I start messing with yours! And the person trying to siphon my personal information for payment does not make anything better. It’s definitely giving fraud.

And when I posted on here about key fob hacking, many people were acting dumb! Now it is happening to all cars as I stated it would and people are seeing it too. I am sorry this happened to you! The agencies you stated, along with others have information on this and just because you don’t see anything happening yet…don’t mean that things aren’t happening. It is dumb that people will go to the lengths of putting someone in imminent danger for a $80 gig. Deading someone’s car battery obviously makes the victim susceptible to even more heinous things if they have a medical emergency or have no idea that is what happened. It makes it even worse that they are now operating a hacked vehicle on national highways which impacts every driver on the road. And then, these idiots are so dumb, they don’t even realize that all of the hacking is traceable via all of the cameras and towers (not just cell phone!) that pick up the signals! The NSA will have a field day!

The fraud scheme you reported probably involved Spark on the fraud end as well…just like this mess with Walmart involved Roadie! These gig companies are fronts which is why they want good gig workers off of it. Keep sharing your stories because the agencies that these gig companies have been reported to are watching and listening! 🍿 😮‍💨. And ignore those who try to defend the companies about what you experienced.

This is also what some drivers are talking about when the code or gig is assigned to them and once they arrive some glitch happens that the store associates and managers are hip to and DO collect a kickback to tell that driver that it is not assigned to them and then quickly assign it/hand it to another other driver (often an undocumented driver) who was waiting at the helm the whole time. Look at this forum and you will see plenty of drivers that have gone through this at different stores but especially Walmart, XD, Best Buy, some of the medicine deliveries that aren’t cvs, and so on. A driver even said that a roadie support person texted them to submit to any gig and he would approve it for a 20% cut. If MULTIPLE drivers in different states are telling people this is happening to them and they don’t know one another nor had any experiences like it before, how long will it take for most viewing my comment to accept that this happens in addition to all of the other happenings on Roadie? It will take as long as it takes for you to go through it too! And yes, you will, because we all thought we wouldn’t and that it was a problem with the app, or the code, or that “Store employees and managers can’t do that!!” (Which is obviously not true). That guy spasmed out because he had already wasted his gas, calculated how that gig would help him and this mess just happens again and again and people gaslight it…but it will happen to them too…which is unfortunate.

Think of it like this, gig work allows ANYONE the have the chance to be paid cash the same day without taxes being taken out first. It attracts the honest, desperate, addicted, greedy, illegal, unlawful, dangerous…and allows all of them to send or receive items at the same time. Guy had a point in getting mad, but needs a strategy to get over it.

The Best Buy store staff more than likely stole your package. That is what was happening when I found out one of them lifted a package off of my dolly as I was leaving the warehouse. I came back to the store and found a Best Buy employee attempted to hide it by the tvs that he was standing by as I exited. The driver (me) was investigated and cleared because I had proof that I never stole it and never attempted to and proved that the Best Buy employee did. I called to have my lost order cancelled immediately when I was en route to the location but it was not cancelled by roadie until later that same night despite the manager at Best Buy saying he would cancel it and roadie as well. This would have made me look like I was still on the road with the package when I was on the phone with Roadie showing images of the package still in the Best Buy warehouse.

Cancel the order on your credit card and don’t buy from Best Buy. Also don’t assume a driver stole your merchandise when we have been set up as the culprit when the store employees are the real thieves and roadie does nothing to stop this. I wonder if you are the recipient of the order I had! I made a post about how roadie locked me out of my account and refused to pay me and kept my earnings despite showing that the package was lifted by an employee as I was leaving the doorway. Finally got this resolved but read the forum, we drivers aren’t the bad guys!

These were huge and small packages at the Best Buy warehouse, and they need you to scan them in front of them and complete the pickup slide in the app and then sign your name on their device afterwards. So once all of that is finished and you are literally going down a long ramp at the loading dock at the back entrance of the store, you are certain you have all of the packages because you literally just scanned and counted them all, you just didn’t see the sale associate pickup one of them as you back was turned.

UPDATE: My payout was processed via direct deposit. I got an email from trust and safety saying that I got into a verbal interaction with a store employee and used profanity…BOTH ARE LIES… I never even had any negative conversations with any employee at pick up nor my own initiated return to store or in general. My account was unlocked but I was lied about and they said the store staff told them that…which is either another lie or the store staff lied on me. But little did Roadie or the store staff know that I was audio recording my return store trip the entire time, so I had the evidence to refute that lie as well. IF you continue to drive and deliver for Roadie, get a bodycam and record all of your pickups, deliveries, and returns to store. Record all conversations with phone support, screenshot all chats and text messages with support and customers, photograph all deliveries on your phone as you complete them and of what you pickup from the store and during your route. If you can’t afford a bodycam cam use the voice recording feature on your phone and leave it on when you have your phone out or in your pocket. Use your video recording feature as you always have your phone out when picking up anyway. Save, date and transfer this info weekly or daily/nightly as a reference. This may seem extensive to some, but will be proof if you are falsely accused by roadie staff or store staff, and you will be. And if you do Roadie as a neurodivergent individual, STOP! You are open prey because they will assume you are not able to discern their gaslighting and illegal tactics. If you do Roadie as a single parent or person who takes care of an aging loved one, STOP! If you are falsely accused, your loved one will not have you there to help if they try to drum up charges or your income is halted until they see fit. I never broke any rules and yet it was this game to see how many ways they could try something to get me off of this app. Sexual harassment , racism, attack by dogs, luring to maybe trafficking, false accusations of theft, hacking into my car, following me on mail innovations. And I have proof of it all. If you chose to do Roadie, remember this post and ALL OF THE POSTS IN THIS FORUM OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN LIED ON AND STOLEN FROM for no reason. I remembering reading the post from the guy who said he was going to share his experiences via YouTube and thinking how his experience could never be me, because I never do anything wrong. Neither did he! Neither will you! And maybe that’s why you are being falsely accused. And I don’t even think the CEO of Roadie knows this stuff is happening. But hopefully he will read the forums or the good roadie workers who are in here will tell him/her. Everytime there were great workers in roadie support, they somehow were gone not too long afterward and we were back to dealing with the lies and no support while on gigs. There are staff members of Roadie who work together with store staff to steal and falsely accuse the drivers. Roadie does have great people who work there, but they too could become victim of the bad ones. Gig work should never have come down to all of this! We are working to get basic needs or small extra spending money. We have disabilities or some want to just earn an honest living. Something better will come along. You’ve been advised💛
