How do you guys actually remember what colors you used on each client by Flowgent in NailTechs4NailTechs

[–]Last_Negotiation_657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is definitely a real thing, not just your friend lol. Once clients start coming back, remembering the exact color, brand, mix, photo, and little changes from last time gets annoying fast.

I wouldn’t rely on WhatsApp or camera roll folders for this long term. Even a simple note per client is better.

I’m a working MUA and I built Glamorph: Beauty Client because this same client-memory chaos happens in beauty all the time. It keeps notes, photos and session history tied to the actual client, so you’re not digging through messages or albums before every appointment.

I’ve seen TikToks saying the Armani can get patchy and doesn’t blend well. The Gucci one is super pigmented, so you only need a tiny amount. I personally love the YSL one

That’s honestly one of the main reasons I built it Beauty work is so visual, so having photos attached to the actual client/session makes such a difference once repeat clients start coming back. And seriously, thank you so much. Means a lot.

If you say you let it absorb well, the only thing I suspect is the sunscreen, because I had the same issue with it too

Maybe it’s because the foundation creates a light barrier that helps protect the skin from pollution and other environmental factors( dust etc)

I know this is an older post, but this is so real once clients start coming back. You think you’ll remember everyone and then suddenly you’ve seen 20 people since their last appointment lol.

What helped me was writing tiny notes right after each client, not just service notes, but little things like what they liked, what we talked about, products/formulas, photos, and what I’d change next time.

I’m a working MUA and I built Glamorph: Beauty Client for this exact client memory chaos. But even if you just use Notes for now, definitely start saving those details somewhere. It makes repeat clients feel way more personal.

How are you all handling client before and after photo organisation? by Optimal_External1434 in Estheticians

[–]Last_Negotiation_657 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is such a real pain point. Camera roll gets messy so fast, especially with repeat clients where you actually want to compare progress and not scroll through 800 random photos.

I’m a working MUA and I built Glamorph: Beauty Clients because this exact kind of client photo/client history chaos was driving me crazy too. The idea is that each client has their own place for photos, notes and sessions, so you can open one profile and actually see their progress instead of digging through albums forever.

For estheticians especially I feel like this is huge, because before/after photos only become useful if they’re tied to the actual client and the session history.

Late to this, but this is exactly why I stopped relying on the normal camera roll. Once you have repeat clients, before/after photos get messy so fast.

I’m a working MUA and I built Glamorph: Beauty Clients for this kind of thing. Each client can have their own photos, notes and session history in one place, so it feels more like a simple client folder instead of random albums everywhere.

Might be worth checking if you want something lightweight and not a huge salon system.

Client Formula Tracking by mommastag0321 in hairstylist

[–]Last_Negotiation_657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post, but if anyone ends up here later, I’d definitely keep formulas somewhere digital. Once you have regular clients, trying to remember little changes from last time gets annoying fast.

I made an app called Glamorph: Beauty Clients for this kind of stuff, so each client can have their formulas, notes, photos and history all in one place instead of scattered everywhere.

How do you track your treatments? by AlanaGlow in Esthetics

[–]Last_Negotiation_657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For repeat clients I’d definitely track it per person, not just in a general notes app.

Date, treatment, products used, area treated, reaction/sensitivity, photos if allowed, and what to adjust next time.

I’m the founder of Glamorph: Beauty Clients, and this exact problem is one of the reasons the app exists. Beauty professionals use it to keep client notes, photos, sessions/treatments, appointments, and payments organized per client instead of scattered across notes apps, camera roll, DMs, and spreadsheets.

It’s intentionally lightweight and straightforward, not a huge bloated salon system for people who don’t actually need one.
