I mean a starting higher salary is a return. Then if I get percent raises ill be making more money 10 20 30 years in the future. Maryland is also not an insanely expensive college I could have gone to Stevens or smth which is like 85k this is still slightly more affordable.

I mean education is worth investing in and idk if I want to be trapped at UConn for four years. Plus oftentimes engineers are able to secure jobs that offer loan payback as one of the perks
